ADVANCED SYSTEMS
Strengths:
- Direct Hit: The Lascannon main weapons like most of it's kind made by the Imperium of Tythe is extremely accurate, meaning if you have a shot lined up you are almost granted to hit it, more so the power behind such a weapon means that (unless heavily shielded or armored) most craft can be taken out in one volley.
- Bit Nimble: Though not much faster then most standard craft the T-1SF is slightly more maneuverable, allowing to outperform ships like an X_wing, allowing it to line up shots easier and deliver that killing blow.
- Back Protection: Taking inspiration from the clone wars era ARC-170 the T-1SF sports a rear gunner, able to keep pesky interceptors of the craft tail, this is especially ideal when conducting CAS for ground units and needs to keep a level aim.
- Limited Ammunition: The use of only two missiles and the solid ammunition used in the THLC will run out relatively quickly in prolonged engagements and will require refitting to allow the ship it's full capability.
- Recharge: Though powerful the two hull mounted Lascannons do need to recharge after each shot which takes a few seconds, this means a pilot much be sure of his shot, least miss and allow his quary to escape.
With a series of capable capital ships set to make an Armada for the growing world of Tythe, focus of the space faring section of the military was put towards making a capable set of star fighters to be used on any future campaigns and in defense of the home world. The first and arguably most important craft to make first was a space superiority fighter that could tackle most space combat situations but also provide some sort of close air support for grounds troops if needed. Ideas for a fights similar to the headhunter were put forward though in most cases lacked certain aspects that were wanted for a CAS vehicle, such an idea being merged with the famous N1 star fighter from Naboo to lighten and make the over all design of the craft lighter.
Though it lacked the regal look of the Naboo fighters the newly named T-1SF did stand out as a new design, but even so there was still one thing missing from the ship to make it that little bit more useful in combat. Once again taking inspiration from older craft the addition of a rear gunner to keep interceptors of the ships tail was employed, mainly for use when the pilot was conducting strafing runs of ground targets and was not able to swerve. Even so the fighter did not come with it's own flaws, the more lighter frame on the ship model after the N1 did mean that the ship was more fragile to enemy attacks (hence another reason for the rear gunner) and the use of solid ammunition and only two missile does limit the amount of time it can stay in combat for and remain at peak performance.
