SPECIAL FEATURES
- Sensor Jammers: Capable of breaking missile locks
- Astromech Slot
- [+] Flight, not Fight: This T-70 has been modified to favour Speed, Manueverability and Survivability over Strength
- [+] I Have you Now: This X-Wing excels at engaging with enemy small craft, and was designed with dogfighting in mind.
- [+] I Know a few Maneuvers: The speed and maneuverability of this ship make it incredibly difficult to hit, and for locks, there's always the sensor jammers.
- [+] Get off my tail: The Sensor Jammers equipped on this starfighter mean that it can scramble locks on both ships and torpedos, giving it some extra time to escape
- [+] Punch it: The Hyperdrive in this X-wing is a class 1, able to charge, fire, and travel great distances with relative ease, compared to other ships of the same size.
- [-] Flight, not Fight: In order to ensure its Speed and Maneuverability, major drawbacks have been made to the weaponry of this ship
- [-] These weapons aren't made for ships that size: This X-Wing offers little firepower against larger capital ships, and can only take advantage of prior-exposed weaknesses
- [-] Where's the manual?: Considering the jerry-rigging and adjustment which went into its design, the T-76B handles rather uniquely and can be difficult to control without experience
- [-] It's a two-man job: Considering the major adjustments which have been made to the T-76B, many of the calculations and management of systems can't be done by an organic brain. The T-76B will never perform at its best without an astromech co-pilot.
The T-76B is less of a new class of starship, than a heavily-modified relic of a previous one. The inner workings of the ship, and many of its systems are the same as its T-70 X-Wing predecessor, however major external modifications have been made to ensure it relies more on speed and survivability than firepower.
The laser cannons usually on the tips of the S-foils have been replaced for a series of maneuvering thrusters, with two of the cannons being adjusted to sit under the cockpit of the starfighter, on either side of the proton torpedo launchers. These weapons still function similarly to a normal X-Wing, but there are only two laser cannons, rather than four.
Designed to work against other starfighters, the pilot of this starfighter can use its superior manueverability to shake a hostile on its tail, and bring themself to an advantageous position to finish them off.
