- Bunker Buster: The shaped charge means that a lot of power of the explosive is directed in one direction, meaning the T-EW1 is capable of punching holes in armored targets such as vehicles or bunkers.
- Tied Down: The T-EW1s are attached directly onto vehicles or fortifications with magnetic, adhesive or physical clamps to, maximize their effect on the target along with being thrown.
- Low Radius: The focused detonation lacks a blast radius, therefore making them impractical for use against enemy infantry, that are in scattered formation.
- Right Way: Tough weighted in a way that if thrown the charged end with most likely hit the target, if thrown poorly may fail to properly detonate in the desired direction, even if id does have a small residual blast that can still do a bit of damage.
Though the thermal detonator is a good choose for a military that want a good all around explosive for taking care of most threats the Tythe military were also looking for a type of charge that one could use for even bigger and well armed targets. The solution to this was a weighted explosive with a charge that was purposely pointed in one main direction that allowed a relatively simple charge to be pushing into one focused area, exponentially increasing it's destructive power then close enough.
Though having it's flaw such a devices allows a basic infantry man to carrying some decent fire power, able to take down an AT-ST in one blow it aimed well enough. Along with the already produced weapons the T-EW1 is to be one of the standard issued devices that all members of the Royal Armed Froces have access to upon recruitment and proper training.
