Description: A multipurpose datapad/scanner, the T-SCAN DEVICE was developed for the Iron Empire, more speciffically they're technomancers, and wardens. Though the Iron Army makes use of it at times. It weighs nearly 7 kilos, a high weight considering what it is, but then, you try and build a combined, high power, datapad and scanner.

I'd recommend looking at the portable scanners category on wookieepedia for some ideas. Another entry that might be particularly interesting to you as a baseline would be the EnhanceScan general-purpose scanner.
