Description: The T1 Battle Droid was created in conjunction of two of Santhe Corporations subsidiaries for use as a main battle droid for Tion, who has a history of using such forces dating back to before the Republic. Although Sienar Intelligence systems had plenty of experience creating assassin and security droids they didn't possess the resources needed to mass produce droids on the scale needed by the Tionese sector. For this they went to Sienar Army systems for production.
The droid itself used a Sienar brain typically meant for lower end assassin droids making them smarter than the typical battle droid. The expense however led to other aspects of the droid being designed cheaper making it so the droid often required extended maintenance. Capable of independent action with hundreds of thousands of tactical simulations programmed into its brain the droid is capable of analyzing tactics and responded to them.
Battledroids are best used in conjunction with organic commanders and troopers.
