Once enthroned within the heart of the Deep Core, Keres I - through the machinations of beings beyond mortal comprehension - had materialized on the fringes of the Sluis Sector, near the Alliance-held world of Praesitlyn. The landscape, according to salvaged records, had at one time been nothing more than a rocky and barren wasteland that held sparse pockets of human life. It was a system fit for mining and contained a ripe bounty of minerals beneath its crust, but after the Netherworld event and the sudden translocation of the planet to the Outer Rim - it's become something else entirely.
