T3 Dominion of Copperline / Bomis Koori

After looking over the poll, seems like we have a majority concensus for two particular items.

The first will be the next T3 dominon for August.

Bomis Koori: I know [member="Gideon Raith"] had an idea for this.

Copperline: Copperline was a world of poor farmers that had been plagued by pirates for decades.

Pendari: This planet was the site of an Imperial shipyard during the Galactic Civil War where the Victory-class Star Destroyer Gallant Sun was destroyed by Rebel forces.

Best thing is that we can split things up across several planets for any objectives for the entire hex. So let's plot!

Definetly send some forces in to secure the shipyard on Pendari and once the shipyard is secure from say some pirates or mercenaries using it as a base send in the tech-heads to get the shipyard up and running to produce ships and bolster our navy.

[member="Noah Corek"] I have a pirate, that could do official opposition post, only help in a rebellion if there is one.
[member="Flora Burn"] is my pirate

For Pendari, we could use the Imperial Shipyard to our advantage. Unless there's a legitimate reason for it to no longer exist, we could say it was re-purposed by a rogue entity and began conducting business in secret. We could send a team in to gather intel on it, and create a story where we uncover a plot to amass an attack fleet against the Alliance.

From there, the story could turn into infiltration and seizure, which would both give us another shipyard and add an element of suspense to the Dom.

Discussing the hex at large:

Boomis Koori sits at the strategic intersection of two hyperlanes. Someone mentioned to me that we have a second Fleetcom, and it might be a good idea to drop it out that way. One of the hyperlanes is a short jump to Sullust, so actually it would give us a critical rally point for northward movement as well as make sense as a defensive buffer.

The entire hex stands to profit us from a military standpoint, realistically.

Naalol (Nah, lol) sits on the hyperlane with Sullust and would make a good place for a Military base. It had an Imperial Garrison and the terrain was mountainous, which would afford us a defensible position if we were ever forced to dig in. Additionally, by dropping a fleet at any point along the route, we could set up an Interdiction-enforced choke point.

These are just a few things off the top of my head, and I'm just in Tactician mode. Feel free to tell me I'm being a war nut. :p

And who is up for a more peaceful type of a mission and a little expedition, I will be having a little bit of a journey around the nature of one of these planets with a small expedition team.

Will be researching and investigating local flora and stuff. :)

Oh, now there's a thought...

Copperline provisions us an agriworld that could reasonably bolster our supplies for the sector. Together with [member="Kahne Porte"] and [member="Aneya Maev"] 's ideas, we could have a hybrid exploration and scenic enjoyment story that doubles as assisting with crops, etc and strengthening our supply chain.
