ARMAMENTS
- Twin Heavy Blaster Cannon
- 3 Proton torpedo launchers
- Missile deactivation transmitter
- Deflector Shield Generator
- Modular paint - The tank can have different paint jobs.
- Encrypted communications array
- Damage Control System
- Integrated Holocommunicator
- Internal fire suppression system
- Standard Targeting System for heavy blasters
- De-icing system
- Internal thermostat
- 3 seats in the cabin
- The tank has room for three crew members, the driver, gunner, and comms specialist.
- Front viewport
- Lock-Threat Warning System
- K64 Targeting System
- Integrated for torpedo launchers to lock on to heavy tanks and walkers.
- Dodge this, chump - The T9-B's K64 targeting system allows the tank to lock onto medium and heavy armored vehicles, ensuring torpedos can directly hit their target.
- The bigger they are the harder they fall - The Adjudicator is designated as a tank-destroyer, designed to engage in tank-to-tank combat, rather than provide support for infantry. A combination of the heavy blaster cannon and proton torpedos can provide devastating for heavily armored tanks and walkers.
- Environmental seal - Because internal temperature changes can be made and the vehicle is hermetically sealed, the tank can be easily deployed in multiple environments.
WEAKNESSES
- What do you mean they dropped out of the sky? - Missile deactivation technology or an EMP blast could deactivate the proton torpedos while in-flight to an enemy vehicle since proton torpedos can be classified as a warhead.
- Turn us around quick! - The T9-B twin blaster cannon can only turn 270 degrees and can be easily flanked. It needs lighter armor to assist its flanks. Or they can turn and fire at the enemy when in sight.
- EMP/Ion weakness - Because the T9-B is dependent on sensors and targeting computers, the tank is useless when hit with an EMP or ion blast.
- We missed it! - Smaller speeders and repulsor craft can easily avoid being locked on by the proton torpedo targeting system.
DESCRIPTION
While the GA has accrued many vehicles in its arsenal after standardization, AIL had uncovered the original T3-B used in the Rebellion and later the New Republic. After going over the original schematics, they took note of the proton torpedo launcher attached to the vehicle which engineers believed that the tank could be the heavy direct fire vehicle the GA could use to take on larger walkers and tanks. Especially in groups, the T9-B can launch a screen of proton torpedos to overwhelm enemy armor. With added internal systems, AIL put the T9-B into production and sold to the GA in massive amounts.
