Table Talk on the Edge of the unknown (invite)

Location: Eisenwelt

An out of the way planet along the Grau Welten System was sending an invitation to come to a trade fair. Rianna considered this fair it would give her a moment away from all the chaos and drama that had been part of her life as of recent. It would provide her an opportunity to look at different technology, and to converse with other doctors about a growing viral threat.

It did not take long for her to make the choice taking the Morning Star rather than the Dancing Thranta Rianna made her way there. The cold of space seeped into her bones the quiet once again leaving her to think on the events that had occurred. Her home world in the hands of the Sith, her husband seated upon the throne of the Dark Lord, their children scattered among the stars, and she was going to a trade fair. It was almost surreal to her.

Within a few days she arrived making arrangements for a place to stay, and slowly looking over the data on what distributors and vendors were here. She as always was looking for crystals, and bacta. New medical technology would also be a benefit. A single night on her own. She had spent many nights like this before being married. Marriage was changing her views, her way of life. Was it making her less a Jedi? Could she call herself one still?

So many questions, and no answers that would come easily. Instead Rianna focused on what she needed to do mingle with the crowds, smile, and network.

Elaine Thul had just left alderaan, to attend a trade fair on the planet of eisenwelt. The way thing where going, no doubt her new master would take it soon. They scared her, though she can`t see who could stop them. They where organized, and seemingly invisible and they had actual monsters on their side.

She landed in a fury a MkI version, apparently after how performed on teta it was going to be upgraded. She was hoping to make a few contacts, to help design armour for the sith. Which was ironic, as she been tasked with improving the military hardware, for the very people she secretly hated. Though fear of glitter was keeping her inline, that beast scared her. That was not only one of them ether, they had more. She just wanted to survive the war, and hope fully meet some one nice. Though she increasing looking like she get her hands dirty for them.

She left her ship and head to the hotel, their she stayed with few house guards. They where meant to make sure was safe, as know she was helping the sith. She had no doubt people might want to do her harm, a far cry from becoming a hand maiden in he palace. Well those days are gone know, and she had to deal with the terrors. As she does not want to abandon alderaan, or it`s people to it`s new overlords.

Rianna was crossing the lobby when she saw the small group pass through, she moved again, and again looking at the armor worn. That looked like House Thul's emblem, what would House Thul..she stopped. Of course House Thul always on the side of the imperials. Rianna stopped she felt a deep stab of anguish and pain as she remembered her homeworld.

She backed up into the chair that was behind her. She had to get control of herself she had to remember who and what she was. She needed to go into the trade fair stick to the plan, stick to her goals. Something nagged at her senses though that this was meant to happen, but what was it. IT had so many faces and bore so many names. Rianna got her breath stood up and headed towards the conference center to find the vendor who said he would provide bacta. She wasn't sure he was selling what she wanted, but his ad in the bulletin would at least get the attention of buyers.

As her guards escorted her to her room, she saw Lady Rianna she felt embarrassed. Thing is she has no choice in doing, helping the barbarians who are not just at the gate, they crushed the gate and stomped all over it. She had some private meetings arranged later, with arms dealers, and some one to supply bacta. So she could make sure all the sith troops had their own personal med kit, as part of their equipment supplied by house thul.

She eventually reached her room, and her things where things where taken to her bed chamber. Then put away by couple servants, the guards set up base in main room, as well as the rest floor they have rented out for the trade fair. Though they where doing some bug sweeps, and trying to make sure no one was listening in from the floor below. Soon she be having her first meeting. She had to procure explosives, for the auxiliary grenade launcher to use on the sith weapon.

She her self was starting to feel guilty, after seeing Lady Rianna earlier. Her house was normally back the imperials, these sith where not imperials, they where thugs. Imperials did not threaten their allies, till they wet them self's. The imperials treated allies with respect, and treated them as equals. Not threaten them with glitter, and have it drool over them.

The conference cetner was crowded and yet Rianna could not help but think on seeing the Thul emblem. It was not against the law to attend business conferences, it was not a terrible deed at all. The terrible deed was the history of their house and Rianna's house.

Rianna shaking her head stepped back and leaned against the wall, this was unsettling. Maybe she should go and talk to whomever that was. Rianna took a step, no maybe that wasn't a good idea.

She stepped back. She could feel her teeth clenching, she wanted to know who that was. She looked for a valet, or concierge to help her out. "Excuse me, I'm looking for someone their last name is Thul" Rianna only hoped it was it could be a married daughter with a different name. The steward nodded, "Elaine Thul" he could not giver her the room number, and it would be very unjedi like to mind trick him into telling her.

But now she knew, and now she knew who to look for in the crowds and if possible perhaps she would be able to speak with this member of House Thul.

She was finally settled in her room, she had her guards through out. They covered every entrance to this floor, as she was nervous about being assassinated. Because of this, she sent down her guards, to act as messengers to other member of the trade fair. She planned to invite them up, but one was going to be directed to Rianna Ordo.

The message would read

Dear Rianna

I Elaine of House Thul, cordially invite you to breakfast. To discuss the future of alderaan, and stewardship of your lands. While my house does not claim ownership or dominion of them. I would like you consider a proxy, till the recent unpleasantness can be resolved. As unattended lands may fall into a state of disrepair, without the required attention.

Your sincerely

Elaine of House Thul

The guard was to explain to her , under circumstances I do have to insist on a degree security measure, please do not come armed. Also that they have hired out the whole of the top floor, of the hotel for security reasons.

The note came and Rianna read it not once but twice. The stewardship of her lands, that fact that such a thing was needed was something to make the Jedi Master angry. OHHHH she stopped though and found her balance remembering calm. peace.

Dear Elaine of House Thul,

I glady accept your invitation to breakfast. I can appreciate your concern of Organa lands.

Till the morning.

Respectfully Rianna Organa Ar'klim.

Rianna sent the note off. She closed her eyes and find mediation to relax her further. House Thul the memory again raged through her about that night her parents were taken from her. Could she sit across the table from a member of House Thul and not feel angry, hurt, or a need to lash out at them. by the force hoped so.

Her guards came back, with all those that had accepted her invites. She had a full day tomorrow, though the most important part was breakfast. [member="Rianna be Ar'klim"] had accepted her invite, may be they could find some accord. Some common ground, where they could help each other. After all she had no idea how to run a estate, she just managed to learn how to be a handmaiden. Though that job never happened, due to sith capturing her. Then putting in front of that awful creature Glitter, something she still has nightmares about.

After a while of going through her company's books, and watching some holo tv. She had a couple glass of wine and headed to bed, she was quite board. Though sleep had its own problems, the biggest of which she was afraid.

Rianna looked out the window she remembered when this little's ones family took over on Alderaan. A pang of sadness hit her again, Orem had done everything he could to help, she had just failed to recognize help in the form of anyone with the emblem and name of Thul.

Perhaps this was different, she hoped it was.

Rianna turned in for the night tomorrow would be busy enough.

[member="Elaine Thul"]

She woke up sweating again, she was still having bad dreams about Glitter. She had to be ready for breakfast with [member="Rianna be Ar'klim"], who due in over an hour. She had to get up and have a shower, to remove the smell of sweat from her. Whilst showering herself for a while, the breakfast was being made, some of which was her guest known favourite dishes. She had her hair brushed by one of her servants, and clothes laid out for her as well. She has a busy day in front her, but the most import meeting was the first one. This was with a fellow nobel of alderaan, and she hoped to see if they could have some sort of occurred.

Eventually she was ready and she sat down and waited for guest to arrive

[member="Elaine Thul"] Rianna still was not sure of this and even though the history or the Organa's with House Thul had a bright spot in it she did not know Elaine or her father. They had never crossed paths and she had not gone out of her way to meet them.

Dressing in the robes of an Alderaan Noblewoman Rianna headed to the suite of rooms that Elaine occupied, Rianna could only hope that this went well once she found out what the pint sized Alderaan noble wanted.

She knocked on the door, and waited.

[member="Rianna be Ar'klim"] was a the door, she was let in by her personal security. He politely nodded as sign of respect, and told her My Lady Thul has been expecting you, please follow me. He lead her past some of the other security, to dining suit. This was where elaine was waiting, the breakfast was waiting to be served she had everything tested for poison. To the republic she wanted as a traitor, the was bounty on all sith. Some of her own people had tried to kill her, she wished life was easier. Though she could at least try and make things a little easier for people under the new regime.

As Lady Ar`klim entered the room, she stood up as a sign of respect. She then spoke Thank you for accepting my invite, and I hope you been well since the unpleasantness. She gestured with her hand, for her to take a seat. One servant`s stood behind the seat, to bring it out for her as she sat.

Rianna nodded and passed the guard she entered the room and saw before her....a child. Rianna tried very hard not to look shocked but she was, "I was very curious about who sent the invite, so, I thank you for offering"

Rianna still surprised sat down nodding her thanks to the servant. Rianna was not fond of having lots of servants but that was her.

"so Lady Thul, how can I help you?" and was that the right words, help. For there was a radiance that Rianna recognized as the force but which side.

I am trying to get a formality sorted out, your estate on alderaan is still yours. Though I understand you can not tend to them your self, they do need tending to. Is there anyone on the planet, that you wish to act on your behalf, during these troubled times. Her voice was nervous as she talked to her, after all she was the rulers of alderaan. Somewhere in future when the madness was over she would be again, or her offspring would be. Her however has a problem, she does not like the sith. She can`t go back to republic, as they passed a death sentence on her. She has no where to go, and is fearful of her own shadow.

[member="Rianna be Ar'klim"]

[member="Elaine Thul"]

Was there anyone to act on the family's behalf at this time, "I am not aware of who is left on Alderaan that could be trusted with such a task, you probably know more about who is on Alderaan currently"

It was odd addressing a child, but this was the child that Rianna had heard about when Orem had died, this was the daughter of those who succeeded him as leaders of House Thul.

I am afraid [member="Rianna be Ar'klim"], anyone I ask for you maybe considered tainted. Then would probably have obstacles than necessary, to do their job effectively. She knew the truth, the lower orders did not like her or respect her. She was hundred percent sure of what she was doing ether, which did not help the situation. Her only goals were to try and keep the sith, from feeling the need to subjugate their people with force. She hated things she had to do to help appease the sith, but saw no alternative but help them. Here is a list of all people I know of who loyal to you, chose one please. Also feel free to use my encrypted comms unit, to let them know. She gave her datapad, with names on it. She then took a drink of her freshly pour tea. She was trapped in her role, she had face it.

Rianna took the list from Elaine Rianna was unsure of this was she revealing a friend to a foe, "Why are you doing this?" Rianna gazed at the list there was a name on there that she would trust, one that had strong ties to the Republic, one that had an ancient history.

One she hoped was doing well under the control of the sith, but Rianna would not reveal the name until she understood Elaine Thul better.

[member="Elaine Thul"]

She gave a short answer I am doing this, in order to make sure the people in your lands don`t become restless. Try to kill me again, as they blame me for what has happened. Like I have a say over the sith conquering our planet, I just got left with pieces to try pick up. Though I did manage to keep their little uprising from the sith, as hate to see what they would have done if they found out about it. She was annoyed by the attempt on her, and still does not know what to do with her would be assassin. She was caught between a rock and hard place. She could not go back to republic, as that would mean abandoning alderaan and possibly her death. Also if she did who would next be in charge of the planet, would they have it`s best interest at heart or would they bend it there own needs.

[member="Elaine Thul"]

"I can appreciate your protecting or wanting to have House Organa's lands protected. But isn't it too late? Haven't the Sith" she didn't say have you, "already turned Alderaan into something other than what it was?"

Rumors all they had were rumors.

[member="Rianna be Ar'klim"]

Not yet, it`s not. Though they are seeming to be getting ready for something, and I do fear the worst. She has seen vong tech, moving to alderaan. They also started bring there sith spawn there, she knew they were up to something, and she feared they would vong form her world. This the reason I need you to get a someone in place, so we can collect dna, seeds, microbes, any part natural world of alderaan. This way once we found way to defeat the sith, we can rebuild our homeland. As she spoke a tear came running down her eye, she was foolish little girl for helping them keep alderaan. The repayment for her loyalty was the death of her world, she would find a way of preserving it. So it could be rebuilt once the storm had passed.
