- Loosey Goosey: The Pelt was designed for guerilla warfame in mind. While it's not the heavy armor of other factions, the TAC preferred a more Rebel styling that Si Tech was happy to oblige. As such it's designed to be a one-size-fits-all set of uniforms that allows the troops of the TAC to move much faster than your average Stormtrooper, and slip in and out of heavy terrain without being noticed.
- Ammo For Days: Between the plate carrier and optional bandoliers, the Pelt is designed to allow TAC troops to go into a warzone without resupply for days on end.
- Low Tech: The majority of the equipment within the Pelt is low tech, allowing for ion attacks to be less effective.
- Low Tech: Due to the TAC's smaller budget, much of the technical equipment of other factions had to be left out of the design, leaving a set of armor that is more designed for tactical hit and runs than sustained firefights.
- Exposed Parts: Unlike other sets of armor, the Pelt is not a full body suit. A good shot to the head or arms is gonna hurt, yo.
DESCRIPTION
Commissioned by Fynch , Si Tech was offered a lump sum to design a new set of armor for their rebel troops in preperation for coming conflicts. Jonyna Si , using her own experience as part of the old Rebel Alliance, helped design a suit that had everything she could have wished for during her days as a Rebel.
Designed with heavy emphasis on movement and speed, the Pelt is designed as a new step in Guerilla Warfare that will give the insurgent forces a leg up against the Imperials of the Lost.
