Grand Moff
(Choose a cruiser of your choice to face me Open to anyone. )
Mara hated not being able to be herself. It was the worst part of having a new identity. So she came ot the Academy to prove she had what it took. The first thing she did was go to the classes, which were interesting enough, the new points were anything that the fringe taught as doctrine, the idea of tactics and such was not new but there was plenty for a imperial trained woman, who had spent most of her life on a ship and then in the midst of ship lords, occupied. Mara had finally got permission to go into the simulation room. This was the fun part to show who ever paid attention to these results she had some skill. She chose the highest one she had access too which was sadly command of a single Predator-Class Battle Cruiser. Which would be hard for someone with no command experience yet she had commanded ships so big they didn't even produce them of that size anymore. she thought back to her original ship and all the people she had lost... They were still here in the fringe, those men and women on her flag ship. They had fled the Sith with her and she owed them to get back in a ship.
She sat in the simulated captain's chair and smiled. She checked the reads and responded with an practiced ease. It was then she noticed that her crew was incompetent or something, she wondered if they were real or simulated. She watched tatictal as she pondered why it hadn't been reported yet so she gave out the command. " Raise shields and prepare weapons, we have incoming. " She said her crew seemed to be startled until they looked and noticed the piece of information they missed. " Don't fret, this is what we do, now prepare targeting and prep the fighters. Prepare the comm array. " She ordered as the crew moved slowly but moved none the less. She would never tolerate such a crew on her ship but this was a simulation after all and it seemed that everyone was actually here surprisingly. They were too novice to be simulations.
Mara was about to put out the standard warning to the approaching cruiser when it blasted at her shields and the ship shouldered the first attack. " Fire all Turbolasers now" She said watching the displays before her. It was different being in such a small ship. " Don't worry we have this just do your your job and we will get through this." She said calming and comforting her staff, she didn't want to take her usual tone, she somehow thought that yelling at them all would hardly go over well.
"Launch the gunships and prepare to fire flak upon their fighters." She stayed cool and anyone who watched could tell this wasn't her first command. Though on paper it was. " Now fire the HELIX"s " She said when the ship had cleared enough room to make it possible and she ensured the fighters were not quite out yet. . The lasers pounding against the enemy suddenly and out of no where just as the gunships finally get out. it is finally their advantage. The flak went up to keep away the enemy star fighters. The commands flying as Mara kept ahead of the situation and kept the bridge of novice officer's in training in hand and calm. It was a lot to take in, their shields were waning under the enemy fire.
Mara smiled as the enemy ship buckled and blew up as she launched a final barrage of HELIX Missiles and it burst through the ships shields and ripped through their hull. It was a beautiful sight and now it was time to see who was next. The ship reset and the challenge was out, who would take on the ship she commanded next. " Good job everyone!" She said over the sim's voice system and waited for a challenger. The simulator acknowledged another ship, she just had to wait for it to get close enough to scan.
