Strengths & Weaknesses:
(+) Well Spoken: Taega is a very confident and articulate individual. Whenever they take the stage they know exactly what to say and maintains and aggressive speech pattern when they wish to get something across their mind or happen to speak at a casual environment. Whatever the case is, You can always expect Taega to carry a conversation if need be.
(+) Intellectually Inclined: Taega spent a lot of their time trying to get as much knowledge within their lifetime to do their job better, representing a whole planet in The Senate. So they are always falling back on knowledge and analysis of the climate they live in order to make the best decisions possible.
(+) Humble: Despite Taega's aggressive mannerisms, they have no superiority complex over those who are 'less' than them under the galactic climate. They don't speak down to anyone less fortunate or privilege than them.
(-) Hostile: Taega's passion comes with hostility towards those who disagree with them and how they view issues in a perspective that contradicts their own which leads them to become aggressive and a bit too outspoken to their colleagues.
(-) Defiant: It's really hard to get Taega to agree with people on a perspective they don't share. They usually rely on their own impulse to make a decision and loves to play contrarian which may make people distasteful of Taega.
(-) Outcast: Taega is considered to be an outcast amongst their colleagues which makes it hard for them to connect personally the very people they're supposed to work with.

Biography: Taega was born to the Balosar mistress of a human industrial baron on Balosar and they grew up on poverty when their dad found out they were the child of their mom, Balosar left her to live in her industrial slum with the rest of the native population. Because of this, Taega had a rough childhood especially as they were growing up as a half human. Humans being the most privileged class of the galaxy, they were bullied throughout their whole life for being half human, especially for being the child of their dad who was responsible for the conditions Balosaran's faced. After living through death threats and abuse they persevered until they were able to get out of their industrial hellhole and moved to Coruscant to have an education after they were chosen from an honors program to transfer to Coruscant, with their expenses funded and everything. Life for Taega in the Core was no different than it was on Balosar except for the fact they had a nice dorm in the university all to themselves. They were looked down upon for being half human and lacked any sort of social connection with their peers at least until their last few years attending. Taega was going for a political science degree along with a focus on sociology and philosophy, and with their program came a research seminar where students would go to do volunteer work and write a thesis based on their experience. Taega went to Balosar so they could understand the political and socioeconomic situation within it. They did a lot of volunteer work in the slums, working in homeless shelters and food drives in one of Balosar's slums. They connected a lot to the people there and even a few connections to the people who organized the event. It was fulfilling and Taega saw that they had to be the change they wanted to see in Balosar.

When they graduated, Taega moved back to Balosar in their mother's house for a senatorial run. Fresh out of college, they were building a campaign that was supported by a lot of organizations with their ability to connect to the Balosaran people and reached the ears of the middle class of the planet and received a lot of grassroots donations. They ran under the populist ticket and was deemed radical for denouncing the actions of the Galactic Alliance as a tool that the inner core planets use to exploit planets like Balosar which have been one of the many instances where intergalactic corporations use the GA to outsource their labor to the fringes. Taega won the populist nomination and during the senatorial race against their centrist opponent, Taega did whatever they could to travel Balosar to increase their popularity with the people. Their conviction behind their words is what made them the popular candidate on Balosar despite their half human genes. Eventually Taega won the election and became Senator of Balosar, representing their home planet on Courscant.
