***** Biography *****

Ta'ek Viss was the illegitimate son of a Sith Purebred Nobleman and a Mandolorean Slave woman. At the discovery of the slave's pregnancy, he sold the slave via black market channels on Nar Shadaa to hide his actions.

Ta'ek Viss was the personal slave for a black market arms dealer on Nar Shadaa from the time he was able to stand. He saw many of the customers his master did business with, and became used to being shouted at and degraded.

One night when Ta'ek was 12, he witnessed a heated argument between his master and a customer. He had never seen anyone brave enough to argue with his master before. He watched intently from the shadows.

As he did, the man arguing with his master noticed him in the corner. He stopped suddenly, offering instead to buy the boy from the arms dealer, so he could be trained as a soldier.

The boy's master refused, laughing that the boy was too weak to ever be anything but his slave til the day be died.

The man left the shop without another word, and Ta'ek was enraged by both his master's words and the other man's sudden lack of opposition. His master proceeded to become intoxicated, as was his nightly routine.

Ta'ek waited until his master fell asleep, then cut his throat with a hydrospanner. As his master awoke with a frightened start, Ta'ek stared coldly into his eyes as the life drained from them. He realized then, how fragile life was in its final moments.

As he stumbled from the shop in a haze, he felt a hand on his shoulder. It was the man from earlier.

"Excellent work son," he said calmly, "My associates wanted him dead for a while, but we couldn't risk our fingerprints on the job. You did fine work back there. Full of anger, but i can see you have nimble and deft hands. We could use someone like you in our employ....."

Thus began Ta'eks life as a mercenary for the Hutts of Nar Shadaa. The man who recruited him, Sirus Bantaa, personally trained him in the Echani Arts, as well as swordsmanship, which he proved to be a natural at, as well as various fire arms.

Over the next ten years, he would come to harden himself as a hitman for the Hutts, while also committing various other crimes to generate credits. He was recently exiled to Tatooine as punishment for killing his last partner on a job, and forced into a suit of armor designed to keep their favorite loose cannon in check. He now sits in the bar with the hope he might one day find a mark that would lead him off the planet that has been both his prison...and his proving ground.

Angels of Mercy

Length: 2.5 ft
Type Echani Vibro blades.
Material: Traditional durasteel and cortosis weave.

Description:
These blades were given to Ta'ek Viss by Sirus Bantaa for his services. The blades were taken from an Echani temple. Forged in tradition Echani style, and woven with cortorsis to be able to fight lightsabers, Ta'ek Viss has used them as his signature weapons, keeping them razor sharp since the day he recievd them.

Their design and function reflect Ta'ek's belief that life is a disease to those he considers weak, and with them, he cures their ailments indiscriminately.

The Exile's Carapace

Length: custom-fitted to Ta'ek Viss's form, as well as bonded to his nervous system. It covers his full body, with a neck armor that encloses a rebreather mask, which when retracted leaves an exposed face and a hood.

Type: Personal Battle Armor.

Modular: Yes

Materials: composite Durasteel alloy, highly resistant to blunt force and blaster fire, built in neurosystems and sensor relays.

Features:

+ Neurological bonding process helps ensure only Ta'ek can use the armor. Also increases Ta'eks ability to hack and slice other systems, and the suit's bond combined with Ta'eks already fromidible skills makes almost no security system or lock a threat.

+ Modular Design makes it upgradable with new materials and implants.

+ Self-designed Environmental relay and analysis system.

+ Rebreather mask system for toxic and low breathability environments.

+ Life-Support and Air Supply (Stock) and Bacta-Injection systems to aid in rapid wound recovery (Custom).

+ Moderate heat, cold, and electricity protection.

+ Moderate protection against Blasters, Blades, and Blunt weapons.

+ Magnetic boots activate if Enviormental Relay senses a vacuum or pressure change on a ship.

- Still isn't heavy armor, it wont withstand explosive force, high pressure zones, nor is it enclosed or pressurized to withstand a vacuum, and the Air Supply is limited to a 15 minute supply

- Electric Shock Collar to pacify the wearer, as well as chemicals for pacification and euthanasia (Disabled by Ta'ek, chemicals salvaged and utilized in other weapons)

- Built-in homing beacon and surveillance systems for the Hutts to monitor their exile (Disabled by Ta'ek)

- The Armor is bonded to Ta'ek's nervous system, surgically removing the suit without unbonding him from it would result in death.

Description:

A suit of armor Ta'ek Viss was forced to wear by the Hutts during his exile on Tatooine. It was meant to serve as an ankle monitor, while also providing the Nar Shadaa Hutts information on what Ta'ek was saying and doing while serving under the Tatooine families and allow them to execute Ta'ek with poisons if he should try to double-crossed them. Built both to protect and contain Ta'ek, it is a well built piece of armor that was custom-fitted to ensure no easy escape from it, and was bonded to his nervous system to make it near-impossible to remove via slicing. Ta'ek used his mechanical knowledge to disable the tracking system, the pacification systems, converting them to Bacta-injectors, and the live feed from the surveillance system, cannibalizing the sensors to build the Environmental Relay System, which provides info on oxygen levels, scans for hailing frequencies and can allow him to listen in to nearby communications. The suit now serves as his personal masterpiece, a testament to his survival instincts, and his constant defiance.

Ta'ek Viss's Enhanced Field Generator

Size: 8 inches in diameter

Power Source: directly connected to the Exile's Carapace, which draws power from being neurotechnologically bonded to Ta'ek's system.

Range: Self

Features:

+ Can generate at any given time a personal ray shield, personal EMP shield, or a personal stealth field that not only cloaks the user from sight, but also dampens small sounds such as breathing, footsteps, and mechanical sounds.

- However, only one field can be used at a time, and there is a short reset cool-down of about 15 seconds between switching field types or deactivation, and it will not dampen actual vocalizations, and is primarily voice-activated with a silent on/off switch as well, to use communications or speak one must deactivate the field, or else it will deactivate itself upon speaking aloud. Also, the ray shield it generates is better at stopping energy- and plasma-based attacks, kinetic energy such as a knife, sword, or axe may still penetrate. Also while it may deflect a few shots initial bolts from a bowcaster, repeated fire may weaken the field enough to allow the metal bolts encased within the energy to pass through.

Description:
A personal stealth field generator that Ta'ek Viss acquired in the employ of the Hutts on Nar Shadaa.
Ta'ek modified it himself to extend beyond just visual cloaking, allowing it to dampen sound, as well as retro-fitting other mechanical parts to form an EMP field to protect against Electrical attacks, and also small Ray Shield Generator to defend against various small arms Energy and Plasma attacks. These fields can not be used simultaneously. This device now serves Ta'ek in whatever capacity he needs, be it to infiltrate a base, perform an assassination, or protect against blasters, lightsabers, or arc casters and certain force powers.

[member="Ta'ek Viss"] Helpful note. Mandalorian is not a race or a species. Mandalorians are a culture of people of basically any race or species. Also, I'd suggest looking into an avatar, but a very nice start to your profile. Very thorough. :)

Evasion Studios
[member="Ta'ek Viss"] Hi there. Welcome to Chaos. You'll need to get an avatar for your character before you start roleplaying. If you need help in getting an avatar uploaded feel free to ask.

You also may be asked to submit these custom weapons and ships you listed here in the factory for approval.

I'm glad its appreciated. Wasn't tryna go too far out the box, but I wanted a good character to build up, with a backstory that explains his views. I feel like all the best villains have some skewed conviction that drives them on, so my idea is that he discovers a unique sense of connection with the dark side, and feels its his duty to return all life that is weak to the Force. He sees himself as a sort of savior to those who would otherwise have been enslaved as he was, but wouldn't be strong enough to survive it. He values his scars as a mark of trials, and every new scar he wins in battle and every life he claims further deepens his connection to the dark side.

Luminara was a slave at one time. But her affinity to the Dark Side was there from birth. She has an unnatural talent with Illusions, which gave her an edge with her masters. They coveted her, spoiled her as much as a Twi'lek dancer girl could be spoiled. She had them all wrapped around her finger. And then, a Sith Master discovered her talents. He stole her and forced her to be his apprentice. After a while, however, he succumbed to her manipulative ways. He claimed that he loved her, and the very thought disgusted her. So she killed him and went her own way. She's a sadistic seductress who adores pain, whether it be by her hand or by others. She's, to put it lightly, CRAZY....

Sounds like my kinda girl xD

But for real, that's a good angle, I always like the sultry femme fatale characters.

Ta'ek isn't so much insane as he is empty. He simply has never had anyone value his life, so he doesn't value the lives of others. The only thing that's ever accepted him is the Force itself, and he considers the Dark Side his only true master, who will one day accept his life as well

To each their own, I'm guessing you'd be more like a Harley Quinn type character, whimsical while also maneacing? My character is something more akin to Thanos, courting death since death holds more meaning to him personally than life does.

But now I'm picturing a badass, half-naked Twi'lek chick flipping around lopping heads off while laughing maniacly at the pretty colors.

A little less whimsical than Harley. She's more like... The Joker mixed with Aro from Twilight. Yes, I said Twilight. But only because the Volturi was the best thing to ever come out of the series.

Twilight as a series was lame IMO(!) but had a few solid concepts. I think mainly my problem was presentation lol I was more on that Ann Rice shit.

But yeah, I'd like to see her in action sometime. I'm bored asf, wanna go commit some intergalactic crime or something?

*in character*

Screaming is music to my ears, one of the few things I enjoy as much as the more visceral pleasures of life, what little there are to be had aside from bloodshed.

Well then, why are we just sitting here? *gets up, heads for door, motions for you to follow*

Do you want me to start the thread, or do you want to?
@Ta'ek Viss

Ladies first. :)

I may be merciless killer, but I'm not without a sense of manners. Plus I may just find it less boring to watch a pretty twi'lek walk in front of me rather than behind.
