APPEARANCE:
Always hidden away by his helmet and armor, he does not care how other interact with him and dresses according to comfort, as comfortable as one can get inside armor.
BIOGRAPHY:
Born on the planet of Malie, his people were a very primitive in their technological pursuits. He and his family were very high in their political hierarchy and were pushing for a much more space orientated military power. The rest in the government decided not to and so the family were forced to chase this on their own.
Malie civilization were based on clan society and large families or clans were given control of large lands and resources to follow their role in the development of the world. His families just happened to be a Military Family, though their had not been a war on the planet for nearly three hundred years. Thus they moved to make the planet safe from thing they did not understand, though in the end it would not save them.
When Taitai was still young an alien race with white skin and void like eyes invaded his home. They had some very advance technology and took out the standing military forces. His clan was one of the last holdouts on the planet thanks to the development of a Sky-net or satellites system that disable their spaceships. They knew they could not last much longer and gather as much of their people as they could to escape the planet. In a last ditch attempt of the government however, they launched a nuclear strike against the aliens. This was a failure as the aliens destroyed the silos before they launched and the missiles were armed with a specialized mineral on the planet that had a half-life of nearly a millennium. This left the planet useless to the aliens and as such they left, but was also very poisonous to the locals.
To survive the local government were executed and Taitai's family were placed in a dictatorial power. However the damage was done, all life on the planet were irradiated by the material and had to wear suites and masks with specialized air mix to keep alive. They decided to leave the planet in a massive fleet of ships that were left over from the aliens destroyed fleet. They also planned to make their own and move to a far away planet.
The only problem was that they did not understand this Hyperspace Technology, and they wish to leave. So traveling at sub-light speeds they traveled the voids of space to look for a new home. His people renamed themselves the Malietoa or Great Malie, and he renamed his family's name to Afi or Leader, for his family would continue the fight after his death.
One of the Unknown Side Effects of becoming Irradiated was that the cells in ones body no longer age or die. The only bad side effect is the decay of mucus in the walls of their lungs and they sufficient to death. They still had to deal with the life in space and constructed suites of armor with exoskeletons to deal with any problems they could face in the unknown new world.
The journey had lasted nearly two and a half centuries now, and he had lost his parents in a mining accident they needed to create more ships for their growing population. This time he was to become their leader, and he never liked the idea to just hide away. It was time to be active in their search for a new home.
