After the battle of Cathar, the Denik people were left dwindled down to a handful of clans that hid away in the jungles of Cathar. But with the defeat of the Mandalorian Empire, the Denik people celebrated. A festival was held, the Denik painting each other in paints and dancing under the moonlight.
Every year since, the tradition has been kept that on the 3rd day of the fifth month, the Denik people celebrate with music, feasts, and dancing under the moonlight with traditional body painting, the initiation of young cathar into adulthood with tribal tattoos, and general celebrations.
