Darth Nathrax
Character
Darth Nathrax
Age: 35
Species: Nagai
Gender: Male
Height: 1.9 meters/6'2''
Weight: 86 kilos/190lbs
Force Sensitive: yes, dark side
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Nathrax is most notable for wearing a rather intimidating looking mask with his all black robes. Sometimes his thin frame is adorned with ceremonial jewelry such as rings and necklaces bearing Sith iconography. Beyond his archaic manner of dress, the Nagai also has many traits common in higher ranking Sith. Most striking would be the burning orange-yellow eyes that can be seen even through his mask.
True to Nathrax's origins as a Nagai, his body is almost unnaturally thin and lean, with only a few noticeable areas containing any real amount of muscle. His hair is a jet black, and usually runs down to the middle of his back. His skin is also covered in small surgical scars and brandings from his time in Sith training.
INVENTORY
Sith robes
Jewelry
Lightsaber
Combat Stims
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Before all else, Nathrax believes in the teachings of the Sith, that power is the only true pursuit that matters. There can be no peace without thorough domination of the galaxy. Until all accept their place under the rule of the Sith, there will be only bloodshed.
Outside of his religious beliefs, Nathrax lusts for combat. Believing that only through its trials are the worthy selected, and only through death are those powerful enough to lead chosen. When in battle, he is often in a haze of stims, cackling and screaming out as he slaughters anything around him.
Outside of combat he is pensive and conniving, often lost in the thirst for knowledge. Most especially ways to keep his frail form going after it has been ravaged by the chemicals he requires to survive.
STRENGTHS
Strong in the Force: As a Sith who was trained almost from birth, Nathrax is noteworthy for his skill in using advanced force powers.
Alchemist: While not as expert as some Sith, Nathrax spends many hours studying the art of alchemy. Going so far as to use those beneath him as test subjects.
Nagai Physiology: As a Nagai, Nathrax has enhanced speed, dexterity, and reflexes beyond the pale of baseline humans.
WEAKNESSES
Frail Form: Nathrax's body is lithe and quick, but especially prone to injury. This is not helped by the copious amounts of surgeries and alchemical procedures he has undergone as part of his experiments.
Stim Addict: Use of experimental combat stims in his initial training led to a deep addiction in Nathrax. While these stims can give powerful boosts, they also inevitably lead to a crash. Not to mention the longterm toll on his body.
HISTORY
Born Takar Nezzikander on he planet Nagi, Darth Nathrax was picked from a young age as a Force sensitive. Not wanting his son to become a Jedi, and thus become part of the greater galactic conflict, Takar's parents took him away from their homeworld, only to have him abducted by slavers.
After a short time in bondage to the slavers, Takar was found by a mysterious Sith woman who took him in. He became part of a Sith sect in the far reaches of the outer rim. There he was subjected to the various tortures and trials that all young warriors must endure if they are to survive the Dark Side. A rage grew within young Takar, a rage that even the Sith began to fear. So, he was put into cryosleep at the age of 18, and only allowed to walk free when truly dire situations called for it. Battles his sect deemed impossible.
This cycle of cryosleep, thawing, fighting, and returning to cryosleep took only helped to further fracture the young Nagai's psyche. It was decades before the young man actually aged into his 20's, thanks too his time in the ice. With all of these many years of combat experience, it was easy for him to slaughter his sect, and strike out for Wild Space. The only place where he could feel any sense of belonging. A wartorn and forgotten sector of space, fit only for those unable to get along in the rest of the galaxy.
Now he has branded himself Darth Nathrax, and fallen in line with other Sith in Wild Space, seeking battles that will either kill him, or bring him some semblance of peace.
