Take me out to the Holodeck

Iridonia

Quenladose starred at them all, these people were strange, questionable and well she had come here after watching the failure at Alderaan. It was clear to her as she had boarded the ship for Vaynai that there was a terrible mistake and now she was trying to make up for it. After well, after she made up for this one as the ranger was trying to keep her in the room with the other initiates. She might look like a child but she was nine hundred years old dammit calling her a kid because she was short was sizest and rude.

"Please excuse me but." She showed that she was a jedi knight and while he looked at her the small dainty teeth mixed with her tri-colored eyes. He let her through while she was moving about the ship going towards the bridge of the E'ron class ship. They weren't here for problems just jedi traveling through friendly space.... or whatever she wasn't certain she knew the Silver jedi council had problems with the grandmaster... That gave her little else to do while she looked upon the planet.

"Alright we are heading down, please keep your hands to yourself and work towards making friendly relations with the locals. The jedi last time they were here fought a Gorax so that might help us. We are trying to get solid state hologrom technology." The small jedi knight bowed her head while the ship headed down tot he planet. They were going to be here for a while at least and she wasn't going to try and make a hard time for other things. The ship entering the atmosphere of the planet and heading to port.

Sun stood in the same room as the short Selphi but he hung from the ceiling using his tail to hang on to one of the lights. Swinging back an forth Sun continued eating on a nerf steak not truly paying attention to the going on's. He was just here to aid when needed, he didn't understand all the stuff about this holodeck or what it would even do. HE couldn't truly be considered protection either as he was sure everyone else had recieved more training then him in certain aspects. Releasing the light Sun flipped to the ground landing upon his feet with a solid thud from his weight. HE towered over almost everyone in the room being 6'5 especially over the smaller women who barely seemed to just barely pass Sun's waist when it came to height.

Seeing the women exit the room Sun began to ponder just how strong she was. Was she a truly capable warrior with that stature, he had seen five year old Versi'Ra that were her height. Sun wasn't going to decide yet though. He was sure he'd see her in combat. One way or another, but they had other things to do. Sun had heard about iridonia and how it produced some of the best warriors the galaxy had ever seen. It made Sun shake in his boots at the thought of meeting other capable warriors. HE knew as a jedi his first priority was supposed to be peace but it was not a mantra he could so easily adopt after being raised to a combative race.

Quenladose looked at the being, a strange one for sure but not someone she was concerned with watching to closely. All jedi had their training and knew how to act even if they were going to a place that bred warriors. They reputation bringing challenges but also some great and interesting aspects while she walked towards the ramp leading for the ship and they touched down. The ramp coming down on the world as the city they arrived in sprawled out before her getting a small grin. She raised the small mouth cover of her clothing going forward while the small tattoo shimmered and faded along her skin. She was looking towards the buildings and what they might be able to learn or get to before finally walking with a small bounce to her hair that stood in a tight high ponytail. "Come along padawan."

Tiland opened one eye from his meditation as others milled about. This was a dangerous area for him to be. So many life forces so strongly infused with the soup. It was like being in a gourmet restaurant, but unable to eat. Well, technically speaking, that was actually correct. He was unaware if any other Anzati had attempted to cook or flavor someone's "soup" so it was really only consumed raw. So really, anytime he was near Force-sensitives, he was in a gourmet restaurant. He let his thoughts move away from that. It was dangerous and sharpened the pain stabbed him along the ribs.

He settled himself back in the Force and let the ache and hunger erode away in the light warmth. He had rejoined the galactic community now, and it couldn't hurt to take further caution and control. He had no desire to lose control of himself, which could certainly happen. Might have already happened had the Jedi not intervened several centuries before and set him on the right path. He stood and lifted his staff and limped towards the boarding ramp, waving off a Ranger who offered to assist him. Just because he was over five hundred years old didn't mean he was physically unsound. He just had a greater respect for the passage of time.

Iridonia. A world known for its fierce warriors and casual affiliation with the Sith. Not unlike his own homeworld in fact. He took a deep breath. This would be the closest he had been to home in a very long time. Hopefully his own skills at unarmed combat would not be required.

Quenladose looked at the other who had joined her and offered a bow of her head wile she was moving forward. With a small smile on her face she looked towards the ones who were standing there and spoke. "Are you the one I spoke to?" The large beast of a man towered over her, an easy enough feat for most of the galaxy but he was a warrior and judging her by her size most likely as she stood there and he huffed. Bartering for technology was one thing easy enough and she could hear the sounds of a battle circle in the distance as she moved. "Yeah I am the one you spoke with, you're the little jedi wanting to buy our technology for the warriors."

That was the gist of it and she nodded her head with a small smile slowing only enough for the padawans and anyone else to catch up as well as keep a good pace so she wasn't crowding the man. He seemed disgruntled and a warrior with a short temper can be a dangerous thing. "Yes I would like to get it for the same purposes, a solid state hologram used for our ships and temples to train different scenario's would be a useful thing." They continued forward and out towards the main buildings while the battle circle outside raged and there were more chances for fighters to impress.

She had been sitting in the same room as the rest of the Jedi while the ship descended. Even so, the silver haired teenager was silent, too much for what one might have expected from a young girl. She looked some years older than she actually was and her expressions where full of seriousness and calmness. She didn't speak because this was all too new to her, for the past six years she hadn't related with anyone and kept interactions to the minimum, only speaking to others if it was vital and learning to trust people again was not an easy task. She still felt like the odd one out, afterall she had a minimum understanding of what the life of the Jedi was, only a strong feeling that it was the right choice to make. The Echani did not use her lightsaber! She was skillful with all kinds blades, and therefore knew how to handle one but she did not know well-enough the ways of combat that a lightsaber involved and so had decided to wait and learn before trying to wield one, carrying one of her Echani swords with her.

She would try to keep a low profile but her silver-hair and pale skin would not help her in achieving her objective, seeing that the environment of Iridonia was mostly composed of dark colors that would make her stand-out. They where there trying to acquire solid state hologram technology and so she set her mind and concentration on the task at hand when the ship landed and she descended to the surface of Iridonia with the rest of the Apprentices. She kept close to the group, paying attention to the Jedi Knight's words as she followed the small group of Jedis.

Quenladose continued to walk forward and listen to the man, his directions were more on how proud of the technology they were there for and how it was used by other powers in the galaxy. Zeltros having the most of it with their hologram fun world. She continued to nod her head in understanding and spared a look back at the silver haired padawan while clasping her hands in front of herself. "The technology sounds amazing I am glad you have chosen to work with us and help us. We will benefit greatly from it and the good deed will help many generations of jedi down the road." She was looking at the man and arrived in the one meeting room with a bow while the technology was on display. Quenladose looked at the forest around them as they passed through the doorway. "This really is amazing."

She just kept silent and stood close to the group but remaining at the back of it, paying attention to what was being said. It was evident that she still was getting accustomed to this new life and that she was doing the best she could to adapt to it, in other words, she was willingly undertaking this difficult enterprise. Tarazet actually needed it, everyone needed at least one thing that was stable in their lives and she had not have one for a very long time. The thing that as more difficult for her was quitting the search for her brother, at least not letting it be the major task in her life. Doing so made her feel like she was betraying him, abandoning him. Now again, she was learning to control her emotions and the more she learned the less it hurt and the more she understood she had done the right thing by joining the Jedi and that she and her brother would cross paths again if that was the will of the Force.

The Echani then felt the Jedi Knight's eyes on her and did not flinch but looked at her back while lowering her head once, in a respectful gesture and as to note she was paying attention. Those body movements and expressions she used most of the time to communicate with others where the results of years of training under the Echani ways, she could express herself and understand others through something so natural and so instinctive that most didn't know all the things they told her by making the simplest of moves. Then they entered a meeting room where the technology they were trying to acquire was on display and although no expression crossed her face she was pretty much amazed by it, her grey eyes analyzing the forest around them in deep admiration.

Tiland limped along behind them, partially listening to the speaker ramble on about the technology. He had been rather out of sync with the rest of the galaxy, technology wise. A century and a half in meditative exile caused that to happen. So he paid more attention to the fighters in the circle seeking to impress. They were decent. Iridonian martial arts were different than Anzati martial arts. Different focus. Different emphasis.

But that's not why he was here. No. He was here to gain technology for the order so they might better protect the galaxy. If he wanted to study their martial arts, he could do that well enough on his own. The fact an Echani was here was interesting as well. Another member of a warrior culture with an iconic martial arts style. Strange how many warriors found themselves with the Jedi, who were said to be peacekeepers. But then, what did a warrior want more than peace? Who desired it more? As far as he was aware, very few individuals.

Nima Tann

Master of Her Own Destiny
Being unable to see Knight Harrison because of the trainings and lessons, she was getting worried about him. Not that because he could be in danger, he was strong enough to destroy the danger, but she was worried about their relationship. He was always elsewhere, whenever she wanted to meet him. It was maybe the right thing to do, trying not to cause suspicion. But she missed him, a lot and she had to see him, as soon as possible. She was spending her time around the Temple, training with and learning from Master E'ron with a couple of eyes watching her every movement.

As she was happy that she found a free day from the trainings, she remembered Master E'ron assigned her to help Knight Quenladose about buying something, she didn't know what because she didn't listen her that carefully, but she understood that it was a dangerous mission, being grouped with Padawans and a Knight. She jumped to a shuttle and started to go to their destination, being late to the meeting, she knew that it would be an awkward moment. She was shy, and usually she would go to the meetings first, and then stay on the background. But today wasn't a day like that.

She realized that she already arrived to her destination as she was lost in thought. The place was a little scary, dark and she continued to walk with the hood, blending in with the people. What would someone need from such a place like this? What would something that valuable to the Order be here? She continued to walk and finally see the purple haired Jedi Knight from the distance. Quickening her steps, she arrived to them, as she expected, she met the confused looks of them. "I... I am sorry Knight Quenladose. Did I miss anything?"

Quenladose felt the others arrive and her gaze stayed on the man talking while she looked up... Everyone was so tall she was waiting for the day the short people of the galaxy would be in charge. No one over four feet tall, these warrior businessman standing over six feet what did they need all that height for? She smiled though when he presented a contract, a small thing fo them to buy the technology and she scanned it looking for the fine print. The were making the payments but this was a warrior culture. These were warriors and while she abhorred real violence practice and this a display of ones skills to seal the deal. Quenladose looked at the man and turned to look at the others there. "There is a request, credits speak but they wish to see how we fight being different species. Only if you are willing head to the battle circle with me and do a small display.

The silver haired girl looked at the padawans that had just arrived and saluted them with a simple, silent nod of her head. She had seen that Jedi Knight [member="Quenladose"] had been given a contract and thought that after she signed they would be done and would return to the ship. Nevertheless, it was not the end of it and she could tell by the look in the Knight's that, in contrast to hers, where colorful. She then wondered what was it that was written in the contract, knowing that the Knight did not love the idea it surely had to do something with fighting but she did not make any assumptions until listening to the Sephi's words.

Tarazet was right, it had to do with combat. Unlike the knight she seemed eager to fight, of course not because of the violence but because to her, combat was the most exquisite of arts. Fighting spoke to her and so she saw combat not only as an art but as a way of communication, a way of reading others and therefore, a way of obtaining knowledge, taking in account that she had never fought with an Iridonian before. She walked around the group in order to not bother anyone so that se stood about four meters away the Jedi Knight, a gesture that was more than enough in order to know that she would head to the battle circle with her.
