Undisclosed Warehouse
Nar Shaddaa
It was only a matter of time before the Circle imploded.
Already signs of its imminent unraveling could be found throughout Nar Shaddaa's criminal underground. Raids on the legitimate businesses which acted as points for laundering ill-gotten gains, seizure of important information, and shipments by Outlanders, by this point Nik felt certain they had been betrayed by the one who had forged them from nothing. The mighty Hawk himself. Who else knew enough information to have it topple so abruptly?
Stepping through the repurposed warehouses he could not help but sigh. All around him the project he had been working on for several years now flourished, rows upon rows of daylight mimicking lights, planters overflowing with mycosia which had yet to be processed, automatic hydration and heating systems... Everything here had been planned down to the tiniest possible difference in climate, in circumstances, it hadn't happened overnight.
And now he knew he would be forced to start again. Tear it down and rebuild elsewhere, in places which [member='Arekk'] did not know.
"Harvest what we have," he said, to the tognath at his side, "I want this place emptied by the weeks end."
Though he knew he would be hard pressed to meet such a deadline, Coltin gave a firm nod of his head and immediately set about relaying orders to the various men beneath him. Reaching out to one of the plants closest to him, Nik ran his fingers over the leaves and frowned. Not the best quality, most of what they had here would only be good for the chemical laced form which was nowhere near as profitable. But he supposed that would have to do.
Thankfully they already had a smaller nursery set up with newly sprouted mycosia. Nowhere near what they had here, but they did have a small backlog of product which would last if they played their cards right.
"Vamos," his surprisingly calm voice called out in the direction of a few dawdling workers, though there was enough bite to the undertone that they knew better than to disobey "I don't pay you to sit on your arses. Move."
