- Retractable Vibro-Beskad made of Cortosis weave Durasteel, engineered to withstand intense power attacks--useful in either short sword or dagger length
- Special miniature Molecular Furnace Technology in the hilt provides power to either a built in mini healing field generator which repairs minor injuries like small cuts or burns or very small fractures over a period of 12 hours OR a Mini Mandalorian Power Shield that surrounds the user for 30 seconds

- Sharpness: Contains a level 3 Vibration Cell, enabling it to cut through most Conventional Materials in a few blows
- Dual modes: Capable of being used as either a short sword or dagger due to its retractable nature, greatly freeing up space in one's tool kit. It's pommel has a heavy stun prod disguised as a jewel, capable of knocking out large beings (Requires 60 seconds to recharge)
- Apocalypse Proof: Due to superior Engineering, it is immensely resistant to degradation in the field, able to go three times longer than many other Vibroweapons without maintenance. Despite it's segmented nature, it's built so well it can withstand very heavy power attacks from other melee weapons, and it's Cortosis weave Durasteel construction enables it to with stand many blows from a Lightsaber and even a blade lock for a short time
- Electrical: Due to the special machinery within, no way could be found to make it resistant to directed electricity, leading to the possibility it would explode if left in the user's hand
- Ion: Ion weapons shut down it's Electronics for 2_ minutes until they reboot, locking it at whatever length it's at as a safety feature
- Acid: Acid eats right through the blade

- Forge time: It's an immensely complicated process to create a retractable sword, let alone one designed to withstand such punishment yet be so reliable, making it an immensely time consuming process to create

The Tal'Alor Beskad's strange features--its retractable nature, vampire-esque machinery, and unusual resilience to wear and tear, mark it out as distinct in Enclave space. It's expensive nature means it's usually found in the hands of Mandalorian Bounty-Hunters or Alor's of wealthy, powerful clans, though it's not unusual to see Mandalorians of low rank awarded one by their superiors for particularly impressive feats of bravery in combat.
