SPECIAL FEATURES
- Contains standard life support technology with all the standard features.
- 10 omnidirectional ion drives allow for large amounts of inflight maneuverability.
- Repulsor lift array allows for atmospheric based flight.
- Encrypted Comlink allows for the secure transmission of data to and from this craft.
- Molecular shielding protects this craft from being damaged by infantry portable, non-super heavy blaster weapons. As well as vehicle mounted light laser cannons. The energy absorbed from these attacks is fed into the ship's weapon systems.
- Two, recessed ball-mounts for the B.R.R.T weapon systems. These can be controlled by a single gunner or moved independently by two gunners.
- B.R.R.T weapon systems are aided by Targeting Computers.
- The Reinforced Duraplast inner hull of the ship protects the sensitive equipment from being disrupted by Ion and/or EMP warfare.
- Bafflers installed on the Ion drives mask the energy signature of this craft, making it almost invisible to non-advanced targeting computers and sensors designed to bypass Bafflers.
- Docking feet and underside of the Tal'galaar are plated with Magnisteel, which allows this craft to stick to magnetic surfaces with great force, including up-side-down with two times standard gravity.
- Targeting Computers are capable of picking up Jurkad beams and using those beams to compensate for the angle and recoil control of the B.R.R.T weapons systems in order to maintain a high degree of accuracy.
- This ship is made of Beskar and is thus very resistant to blaster, kinetic, and lightsaber damage.
- This ship makes use of reinforced duraplast to shield the interior from EMP and Ion damage.
- This ship uses the B.R.R.T weapons systems allowing it to annihilate infantry, light vehicles, and medium vehicles.
- Due to this ship using the B.R.R.T weapon systems, opposition units may suffer large moral loss.
- This ship utilizes an array of omnidirectional ion drives and repulsor lifts which allow it to have unexpectedly high speed and maneuverability.
- Weapon systems are designed to be used against ground-based targets or large and slow-moving targets. No air-to-air specific weapons.
- This ship is only stealthy in the way of sensors, otherwise, it is visually and audibly very noticeable.
- This ship's entire cargo capacity is almost entirely monopolized by ammunition stores.
- While this ship can be used as a troop transport, it can only hold 10 standard infantry or 5 large infantry.
- This ship does not have hyper-drive capability.
- This ship is extremely heavy due to beskar construction.
- This ship uses a lot of fuel for the ion drives, a lot of power for the B.R.R.T weapon systems, and goes through a lot of high-cost ammunition. Therefore the Tal'galaar is best suited for strafing runs on predetermined targets and areas before falling back to re-supply.
The Tal'galaar (Mandoa for Blood-Hawk) fills a very important role in ground-based conflict; a heavy ground assault craft. The Tal'galaar boasts incredible durability, deceptive maneuverability and speed, and a terror-inducing armament. The high performance, high impact craft is not used for prolonged engagements and is often called in to break up advancing enemy lines or enemies that are dug into a position. While the Tal'gaar is not an aerial combat fighter, it is one of the best, if not the best at turning infantry lines, light and medium armor columns, emplacements, and buildings into smoldering ruins. The Tal'galaar utilizes two B.R.R.T weapon systems that rain down impact-detonated Thermal Imploders headed by Turadium piercers to bring widespread devastation. The Tal'galaar burns through many of its resources in short order and generally is called in from a forward operating base to which it returns for resupply.
Soldiers and Generals alike should not depend on the Tal'galaar as the main source of advancement or defense; the Tal'galaar is a support craft and being used too often is not only absurdly expensive but also risks losing the Tal'galaar to opposition counter-attacks. The Tal'galaar excels when targets are predetermined and marked by a target painter or beacon. BM&E sells the Tal'galaar as a heavy assault craft limited to sales within the Mandalorian factions and makes each one based on order. As such there are very few who will be sold the Tal'galaar and those who are sold the Tal'galaar will be hard pressed to receive more than a few.
