Advanced Education - Tali has spent her life either in academia, or on research missions. She has a wide field of interest, giving her a breadth of knowledge that gives her an advantage in many situations.
Spacer Born - Tali was born to a line of spacers that caller Tellyr Prime home, and spent little time on a planets surface before she entered University at the age of 17 GSY. This gives her an advantage when in space, her mind thinks like a spacer, but also a disadvantage on planetary surfaces as she has little frame of reference for them.

HISTORY
Tali Firestar was born aboard a research station in Tellyr system, specifically Tinu Galad, a solar research station orbiting Tellyr in the L5 lagrange point position. Her parents were both researchers on the station, and Tali was raised to analyze everything around her, and make the best decision possible with the information she had at hand. This outlook served her well through out school, and into three degree programs to finally land her in the FarStar Initiative as the Captain of her own research vessel.
