APPEARANCE:
Talik is a rare light Lethan (red) Twi’lek, standing at 5ft 5in tall. Her Lekku reach down to the small of her back, and have dark red lightning “flashes” on the front and the tips are the same blue as her eyes. She is quite muscular and physically strong for her age and height, often luring her enemies into a sense of false superiority.BIOGRAPHY:
Born in Ryloth into Clan Luroon, Talik was a curious child and she loved learning how things worked. Being the younger of two daughters, she was spoilt rotten to no end. But faced teasing and bullying. It was due to her skin pigmentation; red. As a Lethan, she was the rarest of all Twi’leks and often wished that she was another pigment. She soon learnt how to defend herself, but this got her in trouble. To escape from her tormentors, she read stories about the Jedi and their struggle with the Empire and Sith. Those stories lit a fire inside the young Twi’lek, who wanted to be a Jedi and help defend the galaxy from evil and all of its forms. Being a Jedi was now her main goal in her young life and one she would definitely not give up on.Her mother told her that she would not allow her youngest daughter to go off to train as a Jedi Padawan. But then a single life event would solidify Talik’s journey into reality. Coming home from running errands, she saw her mother, and her sister, being forcibly taken by two Galactic Empire-employed slavers, and a Sith Lord. As she watched, she froze to the spot, so the Sith attacked her. He was met by an overpowering defence and was soundly beaten. Talik moved onto the slavers, and she defeated them. Her family was battered and bruised but were alive.
Her mother said she would support her two daughters in any ventures they put their mind to, so she gave them bundles of clothing and food and then she bade the two of them a tearful farewell. It was at this point that Talik started her journey to become a Padawan. After a few days, she began to hear a voice in her head and it had a specific, and repeated, message for the young Lethan Twi’lek; she was to venture to Voss, the home of the Silver Sanctuary Jedi and to then learn of the Force under one of their most well known Twi'lek Jedi, Nima Tann.
She made her way to the spaceport, where she saw two of the Silver Sanctuary Jedi waiting for their young charges to arrive. Upon hearing her story, and her much stronger than usual connection to the Force, and the two accepted her into the latest group of Padawan. She was handed an outfit and changed, just in time to meet her fellow learners. They were taken onto the shuttle and settled. The shuttle took off and headed to their new home. The shuttle went to hyperspace and then arrived at Voss several minutes later. Disembarking from the shuttle, Talik Luroon finally felt at peace and more than comfortable within her new surroundings.
Whilst there, she came into contact with her future Master, Silver Jedi Master Nima Tann, another Twi'lek. After completing her first session, the young Twi'lek Padawan was anxious to continue her training and learn more Light Side powers.
