The young empress sighed heavily as she read over the agreements she'd made with the representatives of the Galactic Alliance. She'd stated her intent to join their galaxy-spanning alliance in return for protection from other large threats - as well as the continued ability to operate in autonomy. Her attendant, Nadja, had just informed her of a palace break in that she'd almost been taken hostage for, although the Sith acolyte that had snuck in had been repelled by her father's men - an elite crew that were something like mercenaries but more like bodyguards for Lily. The brunette noble, in fact, was standing directly behind her with the same resigned expression that Lily knew she wore. "You've notified Miss Sarova that I would be meeting with her today, correct?" Lily asked, straightening out her notes without glancing up at the young Keto. Nadja nodded, letting her expression fade back to neutrality. "Yes, Cerita Sarova should be here in the next few minutes." Nadja replied, pushing herself off of the wall behind her to approach the table.
It was odd, their friendship. Lily's mother and father had killed the prior patriarch of the Keto family, and in turn took control of the planet while simultaneously knocking the Krath down a few pegs, so it had been a rather unsteady relationship the first few days - Nadja being the granddaughter of the Keto noble that had led the system as its ruler and at the seat of the Krath - but the mutual hate between Nadja and her own family had certainly helped their chances at friendship. Nadja took a seat beside Lily, drumming her index and ring finger on the tabletop while they waited for Miss Sarova to arrive.
