Zinrark found the droid that would become Talus when he was exploring the woods around Mandalore and wandered into an abandoned workshop and found deactivated droids littering the area. Zinrark found the droid leaned against a wall near a place that an old notebook seemed to have been before. Most of the other droids showed signs of a struggle. The only droid that seemed to be undamaged was Talus. Zinrark took the droid out of the workshop and powered it on. This droid seemed to be blank slate for a co-pilot/friend because since leaving his homeworld he has not had many friends. So Zinrark had the droid installed with a personality matrix so that the droid would be able to be a friend to the Mando. From then on the two would be side by side through thick and thin. Talus is searching for the holobook of Quoron's designs and trying to find his purpose in the galaxy.
