STRENGTHS
‘’Dream Sight’’
The Phase III ‘’Dream Sight’’ Combat Electronics System is a state-of-the-art sensor suite which features a wide range of communications systems, scanners and sensors which greatly increases the operators awareness. It has the ability to go down into ''low-feedback'' mode, leaving only passive sensors operational for stealth operations.
''- Come at me then!''
The armor is primarily focused on hand-to-hand and melee combat. With mandalorian shockgaunts among the features and worn by a trained and determined user, it will transform into a lethal weapon to anyone who might unfortunately enough find themselves within range. It is made to bash skulls in and cut bellys open, and the stealth field generator in the belt helps the wearer to get up close and personal before the hell breaks loose.
Protection
The material used to craft the armor is a mix between the legendary beskar primarily and duraplast in the plates. This ups the resistance against different weapons. The beskar adds to the energy resistance and the mix with duraplast provides extreme EMP/Ion and lightsaber resistance. The undersuit and flak vest underneath the armor plates is reinforced with kinetic impact gel which gives the wearer an extreme protection to kinetic impacts such as punches, stabs and slugthrower rounds.
Enviroment
The thermal cape and coolth backpack, while not always carried, makes the armor comfortable to wear on planets like Tatooine and Vandor alike.
WEAKNESSES
Gaps
Due to the traditional design of the beskar’gam, sacrificing full protection for increased mobility, it leaves gaps for an opponent to aim for and try to get behind those protective plates of beskar.
Electricity
The armor does lack an effective protection against electrical weapons and that could in turn interrupt with the advanced sensors in the ‘’Dream Sight’’.
Hard hits
Another measure that could interfere with the ‘’Dream Sight’’ is severe surface damage to the hardwear, making the wearer not wanting to find herself in a submissive position in a fight against stronger opponents.
DESCRIPTION
A product eventually coming from crossing paths with a certain mandalorian, this beskar'gam shares many of the traditional armors common features as well as being forged and custom made to the wearers liking and preferences to fight.
As already hinted, the need for the first time wearing full armor soon emerged after Tan'yill met with Aloy Vizsla on a mission on Ord Mantell. The two women came to pair up yet again after that mission, enjoying working together and the added benefit of being able to handle more difficult missions for more substantial rewards. With Aloy's fiery red hair and Tan's chilly blue hue, they came to call themselves Red and Blue, both being shadows and names of their respective past which they choosed to take on yet again. Their paths came to intertwine more closely, both professionally and personally, as Red would invite her to become a mandalorian herself. Completely changing the twi'leks way of life. And, what is a mandalorian without her beskar'gam?
Its main focus is hand-to-hand and melee combat, just the way Tan'yill are used to fight, after being thrown into illegal streetfights in her late teens back in the corellian underworld and in later years taking it up again with cage fight tournaments for credits. The armor greatly enhances her abilities and together, an enemy would not want to come too close without an equal set of skills and equipment.
The goodies in the vambraces and gloves are many, and a stealth field generator provides an ability to sneak up on enemies, taking those blades and fists within just the right reach. The state-of-the-art sensors in the ''Dream Sight'' sensor suite gives the wearer of the buy'c the best possible awareness of the battlefield, and the magno-grip boots with built in rocket propulsion offers a quick way to get into the action and get away from tight spots.
However, no armor is flawless. The ''Dream Sight'' is sensitive to electricity and severe surface damage, and the gaps in the armor would be a good marksmans primary target. The fiber armor lining might protect from one or two hits from a distance, but depending on the weapon it run the risk of going through.
