GENERAL INFORMATION- Fleet Name: Task Force Torch
- Classification: GADF Naval Fleet, Task Force assigned to Battle Group Kenobi
- Affiliation: RADM Drake Galactic Alliance Defense Force
- Fleet Symbol: A white torch on a blue field, gold stars in a circle around the torch.
- Description: Task Force Torch is a naval task group assigned to Battle Group Kenobi which serves the larger Alliance Navy. TFT was created as a way to delegate command and split assets from the much larger sector fleets, giving the GADF more leverage in utilizing it's assets and better reaction times for Naval responses. TFT is able to be utilized for a number of missions, separate from it's larger umbrella fleet and semi-self sufficient for months at a time before having to return to port for resupply and rearming.

- Reputation: Task Force Torch is a newly formed Naval Task Group and therefore doesn't have much of a reputation to date. Both their assets and their commander have been newly assigned to the Task Force and it is still earning a rep among allies and enemies both.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Task Force Torch was created in the current year with the intent to divide naval assets into further, smaller detachments following the Enclave attacks on Alliance member worlds. The aim was to allow better logistical support, wider coverage of fleet patrols and faster reaction times to possible signs of hostility from enemies of the GADF. Having been recently promoted to a flag officer, Toren Drake was assigned this new naval group in the hopes that another Ukatis would never happen again. Or at the very least, mitigate those chances as much as feasibly possible. Since they are a newly formed detachment of the wider GADF Navy, Task Force Torch has the ability to operate independently of larger formations but still carries out Alliance Navy orders and is not a independent element. The Task Forces main priorities are system and sector patrol, anti-piracy, anti-smuggling, planetary law enforcement, planetary blockade, humanitarian aid as well as logistical, material and other cargo support and transport.
