TELOS-IV
Sith Empire Space
- - -
While he generally stayed clear of Sith at almost all times, there were times when exceptions had to be made. Sith, as reclusive and deceitful as they were, sometimes held the greatest secrets. While corruption and self-destruction were their modus operandi, every so often they managed to create something truly powerful. Sith holocrons were fabled to contain arcane secrets that even the Jedi sought in their darkest dreams. Sith experiments were unrivaled in their sheer power and destruction. But Jak was searching for neither.
This deep into Sith space, he was playing it cool and hiding his presence, travelling as Steve Businessman the Fourth. While his eyes always glittered an emerald green, his hair and skin were normal-looking enough to blend into any crowd of Human businessmen. An immaculate green suit and slicked back hair put the proverbial cherry on top, and when he had enough cash to quietly slip onto the express transit, people were entirely okay with turning a blind eye.
Stepping off into the station, he signaled for a cab and tipped well, but not ridiculously. Generosity was overlooked, but borderline altruism was always suspicious, even on generally amicable Coruscant. He got off in the business district and, after orienting himself with the layout of the city, decided to head straight for the nearest park.
Paranoia was beginning to set in, mostly brought on by himself, but also from the permeation of Sith energy throughout the area. This was their safe haven, their retreat. While Telos was no Felucia by any standard, it was still a relatively peaceful place for the Sith with a smaller budget and no reservations. As such, his Force energy and his green thumb had to stay under wraps for the time being.
Sitting down at a bench, he bit into a Toydarian pretzel he had purchased from a local vendor, wincing slightly at the initial crunch but sighing softly as the cheesy, soft insides practically melted on his tongue. This wasn't a bad life... for a businessman. But that wasn't why he was here.
He wanted to get a little up close and personal with nature, and with a shrinking schedule and slowly rising difficulty in keeping his presence hidden, he'd need to hurry.
