Tatooine Tango

The hot scorching planet of Tatooine had certainly changed a lot these days, after the CIS take over the entire way the planet functioned was changed. No more crime lords ruling over the lower rungs of society, slave markets and other illegal events quickly put to a stop, news of even some of the CIS force order hunting down a pair of Vong circulated around the town.

Even so, with all these changes some things just stayed the same, the backwater planet feeling, many lower earning people, other undesirables and much more, but the most notable thing was the heat. At least her current attire was keeping her cool, and fit well into the role the First Order Security Bureau Agent had assumed for this current assignment. With the Ryloth slave trade put to a close and such the need for dancers was quite high, and a person as skill as Asheda was always guaranteed work at any club no matter where she went.

As of now the blue skinned Togruta was giving the customers of this cantina a nice show, not a down side but not what she needed. Her mission to try and find some decently ranked CIS member and try and glean some information for the First Order, unfortunately the old 'I am a Jedi' trick was not something that worked in Confederacy space. If push came to shove hopefully there would be some bounty hunters to hire though for the time being sh'd just enjoy herself and make some extra crash.

Alex StormWolf usually wasn't one to be found in the cantinas, but after a few nights of painfully vivid nightmares, or flashbacks rather, of tragic events from his past; he decided that he needed a stiff drink or two, in order to forget. Having heard rumors of a blue skinned Togruta who was putting on a good show for the patrons at a particular cantina, Alex thought he'd head over there, have his drink and catch the show for a bit.

Entering the cantina, Alex's ears were immediately assaulted by the thumping beat of the music being played by the house band. Making his way over to the bar, Alex caught the barman's attention and asked for a double shot of Corellian whiskey.

"Usually don't see you around very often," the barman commented, as he poured Alex's drink. "What's the occasion?"

"Couple of bad nights. I'm drinking to forget. Keep the change," Alex said, tossing a few credits onto the bar, as he took his drink. Turning his attention towards the stage, Alex glimpsed an attractive,blue skinned Togruta dressed in a rather revealing dancer's outfit, performing a slow, sultry dance routine to the appreciative cheers and wolf whistles of the patrons packing the tables nearby.

"So, who's the new girl," Alex asked the barman, "been hearing about her around town over the past few days."

[member="Asheda Tyr"]

Ash ran her hands along her body in a graceful manner, slowly and carefully to entice her customers but also to get long good looks in certain areas at a time. A gradual and constant motion that made it seem like a normal dance but also situational eye scanning on new events happening in the area, though what did tick her senses off did not come from a physical sense, but a small twitch in the force.

Glancing to her left she caught site of [member="Alex StormWolf"], giving a small wink before looking back to the other patrons, though her mind running widely trying to see if there was anything not worthy about the seeming force sensitive. From what little information she knew the man was a local force user and on the planet and had taken part in the small scuffle with some Vong the other day aiding an Obsidian knight. Not what she was looking for, but if he knew information on the knight he teamed up with... well it was at the least a lead, not question was how to approach him without being too noticeable?

Luckily the song track changed to a more up beat tune, most of the customers jumping up to dance themselves, letting Ash slowly glide away off the stage almost unnoticed, strolling over to the bar, still moving in a rhythmic patter with each step. "It is certainly busy here tonight, is this a usual occurrence or have I boosted your popularity"? she asked the bartender.

[member="Alex StormWolf"]

Alex couldn't pry his gaze away as the Togruta made her way through the crowd and edged up to the bar, inquiring of the bartender whether the crowd was a usual occurrence or if her presence had boosted his popularity.

"Business has been good since you hired on," the bartender acknowledged with a huge grin on his face. "Having you around even drew this old scoundrel out of his den." The bartender pointed with his left index finger towards Alex StormWolf, who was sitting with his back to the bar, sipping his drink and quietly appraising the young Togruta, who was leaning against the bar right next to him.

"Old scoundrel, hmm" Alex replied with a smirk, towards the bartender. "Had no idea you thought so highly of me."

Turning his attention back towards the attractive dancer, Alex decided to introduce himself.

"Alex StormWolf," he said with a wink to the dancer. "Take anything that clown behind the bar tells you about me with a grain of salt. So, what brings a pretty girl like yourself to place like this?"

[member="Asheda Tyr"]

Ash certainly noticed the mans gaze, that was a good start in the whole seduction information event, but she could not be to rash, it was known the man was a decent fighter and probably was wary too. "Oh all these people are here for me, well well always nice being so popular, must be quite skilled if what you say about this man is true", herself sticking her tongue out slightly as he started to reply to the bar tender.

"Stormwolf hu, I wonder if I will be your next meal" she cooed with a small chuckle, "name is Asheda Tyr nice to meet you Old Scoundrel with a side of salt". "Though why am I here, well a dancer no less, Corellia was where I started out my career, Tatooine is another spot for me to show of my skill this is my second time on world, it gets good money too not to many skilled dancers like me around here".

[member="Alex StormWolf"]

"Asheda Tyr," Alex repeated the name. "Interesting name. So this is only your second time on Tatooine? I wonder where I was the first time around, because I don't remember hearing about you until the other day. That being said, I am pleased to meet you. If you don't mind, I'll just call you Ash, and you can call me Alex."

Alex paused for a moment, taking another small sip of his drink.

"Well now, in answer to your question as to whether or not you'll be my next meal, that depends on a few things," Alex said with a sly grin, deciding to play along with Ash's flirting, "are you the main course or are you dessert?"

[member="Asheda Tyr"]

"Well thanks, your name is kind of interesting too" storm wolf was a cool last name, "and yes only second time, my first was more a casual visits didn't dance so makes sense that you did not see me that time". May be best to not mention that visit also involved a late night stay in a Sith ship doing to private business. "Oh and yes Ash is fine, never really done nick names before".

Turning back to the counter she placed down a few credits for a drink before Alex opened up again to continue their conversation. "Oh why not both, I can be savory and sweet depending on how you like it", herself replying with a flirty wink of her own. "The question is do you have enough for for such a large filling, some people say I am little to rich for them".

[member="Alex StormWolf"]

"Well, I'm certainly open to a challenge," Alex acknowledged after some quiet musing, his right hand unconsciously rubbing the very noticeable scar from a lightsaber that ran from the area of his right eyebrow to his chin. If Ash was paying real close attention, she would also notice that Alex's right hand and lower arm were cybernetic replacements, similar to the technology used over 800 years prior by the famed Jedi Master, Luke Skywalker.

"I guess the next question I'd have to ask you is, are you absolutely certain you could tame the Big Bad Wolf for very long?"

"Oh a challenge I will be", in more ways then one, though a challenge, seemed like Alex was no stranger to. His is wounds were certainly noticeable, even if she had been with someone so badly injured they basically became Darth Vader 2.0. She just wondered if he measured up to said Vader 2.0, such a master of Ren did still hold the top mark in her list of current partners.

"Oh honey you ever hear the saying looks can be deceiving? I may be all small and seemingly frail but I am more then capable of dealing with some very big opposition", in both a combat sense and 'other' form of interaction. Giving a small coy glare she lowered her force stealth for a moment, her light sided force signature washing over the place for a second, the type of strength that accompanied a Jedi master, yes somewhat a new master but stronger never the lest.

"Oh honey you ever hear the saying looks can be deceiving? I may be all small and seemingly frail but I am more then capable of dealing with some very big opposition",

For a brief moment after Ash's comment, Alex felt a rather powerful Light Side Force signature radiating through the cantina. As quickly as he felt the signature, it was gone. Turning in the direction from which he first sensed it, his eyes lock on Ash, still giving him that coy look.

"Well, I'll be damned," Alex said in a low whisper, his eyes widened in surprise "You're a Force user, a Master at that."

Alex finished the rest of his drink in silence, mulling over this revelation. A girl, only in her 20s, was more powerful in the Force than he was. It certainly wasn't something one would expect very often.

"Looks are definitely deceiving," he said at last with a chuckle and a wink at Ash. "I guess I should learn to never judge a book by its cover, hmm Master Asheda Tyr?"

[member="Asheda Tyr"]

Ash's face at Alex's comment on her being a Jedi quickly change to a 'oh bugger' expression, "shshshhhhhhh I am supposed to be undercover you silly billy, don't go around saying that to everyone". With a quick wave of her hand she looked back to the bar tender, "forget what you just heard and attend those people at the end of the bar", her force mind trick working quickly on the man as he turned and gave the two force users some privacy.

"Ah you are quite the trouble make now aren't you", she replied, giving Alex a small flick to the nose, sitting on one of the bar stool. "And calling me master, well that is a first though I ain't complaining, thought it's often me that has to call someone else 'master', if you catch my drift". She had never officially gained the title, but considering her strength and understanding of some neat she may as well be one. "So, tell me Alex, are you some former Jedi or in a long lost sect that has scattered members"?

"Ah you are quite the trouble make now aren't you"

Alex found himself grinning sheepishly as Ash flicked his nose.

"Yeah, no arguments there."

"So, tell me Alex, are you some former Jedi or in a long lost sect that has scattered members"?

Alex paused for a long moment, glancing up at the ceiling, before directing his gaze back to Ash.

"Well, I was born and raised on Yanibar, to a family of Force users who were able to trace their lineage all the way back to the original Jedi and refugees that the Jedi Order inadvertently abandoned there during one of the wars with the Sith several thousand years before the Battle Of Yavin. House StormWolf we were, not nobility or rulers, just one of the oldest and unbroken family lines anywhere on the planet. A wild and rugged place it was, Yanibar. We only had two seasons there. Hot and dry, wet and frigid. The Force sect there, known as the Zeison Sha, developed from the original Jedi who helped colonize the planet. As time went on, the Zeison Sha grew distrustful of the Jedi Order. And unlike the Jedi, they didn't believe in separating a child with Force potential from their parents. We lived with our parents while we trained at our version of the Jedi Temple, the Sha Kalan."

Alex paused again, for he was coming to a part of his life's tale that he seldom shared with others, because of the painful memories it invoked. Swallowing hard against the sudden lump in his throat, Alex continued his tale.

"I had what would be considered a normal life on Yanibar, right up until a short while after my 18th birthday. That's when a Sith Lord calling himself Lord Retsinis showed up, determined to make my family suffer for something my father had done to him off planet years before. He led a sect of Sith called the Black Hssiss Order. I watched in horror as my family was cut down, a rage that I'd never felt before coming over me. I snapped. That's the only way to describe it. I..just snapped. And when it was over, I found myself face to face with the Sith Lord. He goaded me, and I attacked him...impulsively. He Force pushed me into a boulder...well, more like slammed me, actually...and I smacked my head pretty hard. That was the last thing I remember...until I came to and found myself pledging my allegiance to him. I didn't discover until a long time afterwards, that Retsinis had used Sith spells to suppress my memories of what had actually happened. He convinced me that my family had been killed by the Jedi. And so...I fell to the Dark Side and became a Sith Lord. "

Alex motioned the bartender for a refill, waving his empty glass in the bartender's general direction. Fresh drink in hand, Alex took a long sip, then resumed his story.

"Lord Maverick, The Sword Of Retsinis, I was called. Entrusted with the Order's most sensitive missions. About that time, I began having vivid dreams of what had actually happened to my family. Once I realized the truth, I confronted Lord Retsinis, and challenged him to combat to the death. Ultimately, I killed him...and killed the rest of the Order by pulling the roof down on them. I put so much strain on myself from the mental effort, that I suffered a massive nosebleed when it was over. Awhile later, I stole a ship and made my escape, eventually finding myself in the Outer Rim. Short time later, I found myself the target of several assassination attempts. That's when I realized that the Hssiss Order had somehow survived. I grew to view the ways of the Jedi too passive and the ways of the Sith too barbaric. I left the Jedi enclave who had sheltered me during that time, and set out on my own, determined to forge my own destiny. That was a decision that ultimately cost me my right arm and earned me the scar on my face. A woman from my past...my love interest when I was still a Sith, caught up with me. Lady Venge was her name. Beautiful girl she was, but absolutely cold...cold and merciless. And she was powerful...very powerful in the Dark Side. When Venge crossed paths with me, she pretty much chewed me up and spit me back out. I'll never forget what she said as I lay there before her, broken and defeated, and missing my right arm from just below the elbow downwards... ""Death would be far too good for you right now, Alex StormWolf. You shall live...oh yes, you shall live, always wondering when the Dark Lady will appear from the shadows to take a bit more of your soul from you....piece....by....piece. One more parting gift I shall leave you with, my former love...."

Alex points to the scar running from his right eyebrow, down the side of his face, to his jawline.

"That's when she gave me this. Swiped me right upside the head with her lightsaber. I've been keeping as much of a low profile here in Mos Eisley as I can ever since. I only just recently ventured out to do a little hunting with a group on Iridonia, taking out Sith spawn. Got clawed up pretty bad by something that was the stuff of nightmares and found out afterwards, right in the middle of a life or death standoff in a forest clearing against a whole heap of nasty, that I'd been infected with some sort of venom. I still don't know how I managed to survive that one, the events of that night are a little fuzzy to me. "

Taking another sip of his drink, Alex glances over at Ash.

"Currently, I haven't allied myself with any major sect or faction here in the galaxy. Tatooine is CIS territory however, and an old friend of mine here in town is trying to convince me to sign up. He seems to think I could put my Force ability to good use there. But, enough about me. Let's hear a bit more about Asheda Tyr, hmm?"

[member="Asheda Tyr"]

After the massive long winded conversation Ash just stood sort of... well gobbed smak, she had not in any way guessed the man would quite litterly give out his entire back story. Perhaps something interesting to pass onto her higher ups but it did not seem overly important to the First order, though that Sith Sect may be of interest to the knights of Ren. Shaking her head the young Togurta turned back to face his question, though was now looking at the man in a much different light, did he really used to be a Sith Lord? That was a scary thought, but about herself, well that was sort of an interesting story.

"Well not much to say, I was a dancer that worked on Corellia, from a young age I knew about my force powers but never was able to leave my family due to our financial situation, Jedi don't tend to pay well". "I used to do some self training, see what I could learn from the holonet and all that but did not progress very far, until one day the Jedi did show up at the club I worked in". "Needles to say a fight broke out and during said fight I show my force powers in the manner of force pushing a thermal detonator into the club boss". "Afterwards I was taken away to train, my family getting some financial help from what was left of the club, apparently they were up to some rather illegal business". "Still I never joined joined the order, more just trained under one master for a bit until I head rumors on another Jedi order,simply called The Jedi Order that followed the older principles from before the clone wars, a peace keeping sect being remade near Commoner".

"In a nut shell I joined, trained a learnt a decent amount, but we never did anything to major, but such was just the begining, though before I tell you anything else I have to get your word not to tell. because if you do myself and you will be in a lot of trouble". Ash leaning in to whisper into Alex's ear, "and I am certain you do not want an army of Ren to be on your ass aster then a rancor on a Twi'lek slave". Learning back her smile was coy, but also a little sinister, herself needing Alex to not do anything rash, but hopefully her words were enough. "I will skip over the more 'lewd' parts but during a meet up on Nar Shadda with a contact a Master of Ren called Kyrel tracked me down, I was no match for him and was quickly defeated and kidnapped".

"I was taken back to Vaders castle on Mustafar and... how should I say... used in all sorts of way", that was a light way of putting it. "Did not take long for fun to change to training, not long I joined the FOSB, though probably not what I would think my days would end up as but I have done some good". "Spent my last few years training, going on mission and all that, the recourse in Vaders Castle being quite the learning experience, learnt a few skills that many others would not have access to and now I am here, drinking with you and undercover, though that mission is a secret". With a small wink she took another sip from her drink, waiting for a reply.

[member="Alex StormWolf"]

Alex nodded his head, silently giving his word to Ash not to divulge any of what she was about to reveal. When she had finished, Alex remained silent for a brief moment before replying in a low voice, so as not to be overheard by prying ears.

"First Order huh? You certainly don't look to be the sort that'd join up with the likes of them. So, what now? Do you have to tell your boss over at FOSB about me, or can we keep this our little secret?"

Alex had said more about himself than he really meant to say, and he was hoping that he could trust Ash not to reveal him, since she had his word that he wouldn't divulge any of her secrets to the wrong people.

[member="Asheda Tyr"]

Ash had to avoid a slight face palm, "you did listen to my story right? I did say kidnapped you know, was not my choice to join them, but my position there was solidified when the order I was in suffered a down fall". "Apparently the grand master fell to the dark side at some point and returned to the enclave to basically kill, capture or convert those there, in a sense I have to thank the Ren for that, even if it has been very different".

"As for telling about you, depends on if you have any information for me, if not no matter, your past Sith and Jedi life are not really relevant, and the Ren would not waste time chasing after some rouge force user on a CIS world". "So let us make a deal, you tell me about that girls your fought with the other day against those vong and I will make it your worthwhile", her tone of voice deliberately sultry and teasing.

"Whoa! Hold up a minute. Yes, I did listen, you said you were kidnapped and you didn't have a choice. That's what I meant when I said you didn't look to be the sort who'd join up with them. Not willingly."

Alex paused for a moment, mulling over Ash's offer of a deal, taking another small sip of his drink before continuing.

"Well, all I really know is that Kurenai Yumi was one of a handful of people besides myself who were contacted with a request to come to Iridonia to help hunt down Sith spawn. That was quite awhile ago actually, couple of months at least. The other day was the first time I've actually seen her since then. I don't know anything about where she's been or who she's working for. Like I said, I've been keeping a low profile here in Mos Eisley. As for the other girl, I've never seen her before in my life. Looked to be just a kid who found herself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Now, I don't know what FOSB's interest is in any of this; but I suppose you wouldn't be at liberty to tell me, even if I were to ask, right?"

[member="Asheda Tyr"]

She blinked a moment before giving him a small punch to the arm, "ah sorry my bad my bad, should have gotten that, guess my whole spy training is taking a tole on my sense of humor and all, he he". Letting out a sigh she let the man finish, grinning as Alex started to explain his relation to this Kurenai woman, having a little more to do with the woman than she had initially thought, not a whole lot but better then expected.

"Kurenai Yumi, why does that name so.... wait I know her, not long after I was captured one of my former partners who was a member of the CIS teamed up with her to lead a raid on Vaders Castle in an attempt to rescue me". "She dueled against Kyrel Ren while the other tried to rescue me, though not successful the woman managed to hold of Kyreal, even live through a saber wound to her chest, she is surely a skilled and tough fighter... I have a feeling she is quite the important person among the CIS".

This was even better then expected, home base would be happy about this, "oh and yes, can't tell ya about my mission sorry hun, but thank you for the information, guess I have to give you a reward now no, hee hee hee".

[member="Alex StormWolf"]

So Kurenai Yumi had fought a Knight of Ren during a unsuccessful rescue attempt of Asheda Tyr, taken a lightsaber to the chest, and lived to tell about it? Alex was beginning to suspect that Kurenai was something more than human.

"oh and yes, can't tell ya about my mission sorry hun, but thank you for the information, guess I have to give you a reward now no, hee hee hee".

"Well, you did say you would make it worth my while," Alex answered, with a sly grin and a wink. "I'm sure the two of us could get into all sorts of trouble together once we find someplace a bit more private." While they were talking, one of the holonet feeds along the wall began broadcasting some sort of message. Two in fact.

When the broadcast ended, Alex turned to Ash with an expression on his face that basically said "What the hell did we just see here?"

"I think your boss would definitely be interested in this one," Alex finally commented to Ash in a low whisper. "In fact, I'd venture to say just about every major faction in the galaxy from the First Order to the Republic Remnant is going to be asking questions pretty soon. Sounds like there's some new kids in the neighborhood wanting a good chunk of the galactic sandbox all to themselves. That being said, do you know of any place where the two of us could get a little privacy for a bit?"

[member="Asheda Tyr"]

"Oh me and my big mouth" she said with a teasing tone of voice, knowing she had said it deliberately for such and occasion, "guess I have to get out of these clothes sooner or later, though I guess I wont be alone for i-" Her sentence was cut off as the holo net came to life, the bar standing still as the message was seen, patrons all staring up and listening.

The commonwealth... she had heard of a similar galactic power that used to be north of the First Order a long time ago but had been annexed after its command structure fell apart, was this a new try at it? They certainly were not going about it in a friendly matter if just being near another power was need for war, not even the Mandos were like that, and those people invaded other planets if they even saw a fleet being amassed, regardless of it's intended use.

"Hah, interesting, I have a feeling everyone will know about that but I will pass it on never the lest, will have to know were they are situated in the galaxy", though judging from the speach she bet a heap of credits there were in the mid core somewhere. "Something tells me everyone will be butting head with those guys, he would be funny if the SJO FO and RR did a mini crusade against them". "Anyways, who cares about that, for now you are in need of a reward... want to go back stage or to your place"?

[member="Alex StormWolf"]

The thought of a crusade between the First Order, Silver Jedi Order and the Republic Remnant against the Commonwealth brought a devilish grin to Alex's face. Stranger things have happened in the past.

"It'd serve this "Commonwealth" right, if it inevitably comes to that point," Alex said, finishing his drink and slapping a few credits down on the bar to take care of his tab. "They're not going to make very many friends with the attitude they're projecting. Tact doesn't seem to be a word in their lexicon."

Alex stood up, offering a hand to Ash. "Let's quit drinking while we're ahead. If you don't mind a short walk, my place is just down the way. I'm a bit of vintage ship fanatic and restorer, so pay no mind to what looks like the Community Scrap Heap out back."
