- High speed and maneuverability, coupled with a solid hyperdrive capability, make these shuttles ideal for a variety of mission profiles, being able to deftly navigate through asteroid fields, space debris, etc. and move quickly for time-sensitive operations.
- Able to be configured and reconfigured quickly and easily, these shuttles can act as cargo transports, search and rescue vehicles (with onboard medical suites), large-capacity passenger shuttles, and mobile research and command centers when needed.
- Strong shields help to ensure passengers and cargo return safely and whole.
- VTOL-capable, with variable-surface landing gear means these ships can take-off and land almost anywhere, making them ideal craft for exploration and survey teams, prospectors, and more.
- Atmospheric Flight capable, even in adverse conditions, hostile environments, and inclement weather.
- Poorly-armed, these vessels are not made for combat operations beyond battlefield insertion / extraction sorts of missions, such as MEDEVAC and the like. Any captain foolish enough to order these ships into direct combat will find himself without a squadron of shuttles and facing down some very angry superiors very fast.
- Although reconfiguring internal layouts can be done, it is not an instantaneous process and allowance of roughly 1-4 standard hours is required for ground crews to fully reconfigure a squadron.
- There is nothing stealthy about these vessels. Tantamount to strapping dynamite to a rancor, giving it an armload of fine china and causing it to run barefoot through Mustafar, the huge engines and lack of stealth capabilities make these ships easy to detect.
- Passenger configuration uses ‘Quick-lock’ rows of jump seats, which are not very comfortable for long-term trips, making for a somewhat crowded and unpleasant voyage.
- No escape pods, meaning if something goes wrong mid-flight, these ships are not enabled to allow passengers and crew to escape a crash.

- Cargo Configuration: 100Mg
Poorly-armed, they are not suited for combat missions, and beyond battlefield insertion and extraction or delivering relief supplies, they have practically no place anywhere near a warzone. Lastly, there is absolutely nothing stealthy or quiet about these ships. Massive engines are deafening in the hangars (requiring passengers and crew, as well as ground crews to wear hearing protection), and they can be spotted by even lower-grade general scanners almost instantly, so while they field terrific sensor arrays of their own, they lack the ability to do anything covertly.
