    –Wookiepedia

  • Lightweight: "This wood, when properly shaped, produces weapons and armor that is not only lightweight, but extremely resistant to sonic and kinetic attack" (–War Oak) The lightweight structure of the Taung War Oak and the thin construction of the Beskar rings makes this Bes'bev incredibly light weight despite retaining it's hardness.
WEAKNESSES
  • Plasma: Unable to parry plasma-based weaponry, will easily burn when coming into contact with these substances.
  • Armor: Features no vibro-generator or metal tip as of yet. While the strong Taung War Oak can pierce flesh easily, it will do little to pierce most armors.
DESCRIPTION
It is no secret that Aloy Vizsla was largely absent in her daughter's life, losing her own daughter's childhood to accelerated aging and four long years of captivity. Her family's return to Tor Valum marked a great change in all their lives, lives which Aloy Vizsla swore to take part in at every opportunity. This Bes'bev, A traditional Mandalorian Flute created by somewhat untraditional methods, would be the second item ever gifted to her daughter.

It was handcrafted over many days from the black wood of the great Ori'ramikad Trees of Concord dawn, which was acquired through trusted contacts within Imperial Controlled territories. This wood was chosen for it's incredibly firm properties as a substitute for traditional Beskar, which had become quite rare after the Sith Takeover of Mandalore. To keep up with tradition however, a series of thin rings forged from Beskar were fitted after the application a red-tinged Lacquer. Each ring was given a different engraving in Mando'a, all representing a different victory or moment of mourning with significance to her daughter. They were additionally shaped as to be easily conjoined with future rings, should her daughter earn them in future victories.

For each of these victories, A Bronzium bead was hand forged and strung through a trio of fur braids, made from the fiber-like scales of Lisks which she had hunted after an
expedition to Illum.
Each braid was then dyed in contrasting colors to represent a different aspect of her daughter's character, according to the symbolization of color in Mandalorian culture.
Daswoad was chosen to dye the first braid green, A Symbol of duty meant to honor Tayl Vizsla's dutiful commitment to her family and clan. Tuanulberry was purchased from a traveling merchant to Dye the second braid Blue, A symbol of reliability that could perhaps attest to both the instrument and it's owner. From the same merchant, A lock of Hydenock from Alderaan was purchased to dye the third braid a dark red hue, Meant to honor one's parents in Mandalorian culture. Unlike the others, This final braid was request by Tayl Vizsla after receiving the gift. Perhaps a testament to the traits which earned her the dutiful green braid.
