- Beskar Armor: Constructed from purified beskar, These gauntlets can easily withstand blunt trauma and most energy weapons, including the infamous lightsaber for quite some time. This material has the added benefit of Beskar's high melting point and excellent resistance to the affects of acid.
- Plasma-caster: The Mk II "Starfire" Plasma-caster currently mounted to the left vambrace is easily one of the most frightening tools produced by Clan Vizsla to date. The Extreme temperatures output by this weapon are thanks to the process of turning Ionized gas into a superheated plasma, much the same way one would a particle beam, however, this weapon does not feature a focusing crystal, and instead creates a "Magma-like" liquid that can burnt through nearly any material, especially flesh & bone with unsettling ease, reaching Lightsaber-esque temperatures.
- Crushgaunt & Shockwaves: The experimental Grav-gaunt utilizes a combination of repulsor technologies and strong servos to increase the wearer's grip strength. The added Vibro-tech and Shockwave generator however, Ensure that the wearer's punching strength is on par with a power-hammer, Able to fling combatants across a small room or knock down even a wookie in one strong punch.
- Glowstick blocker: Made from sturdy and lightsaber resistant materials, The "Kud'ukikan" pattern wrist blades are an effective parrying tool even against the infamous lightsaber. While not completely immune to the incredible plasmatic energy output, These blades can still last through an extend duel and come out in working condition. However, They may begin to glow red hot over time and suffer minor warping depending on the intensity of the engagement.
- Tubing damage: Damage to the Plasma-caster's fuel hose from sufficient force behind a vibro-weapon or simply contact with a lightsaber will result in flammable gas leaking from the weapon. If ignited before the fuel canister's can completely drain, This may light the user on fire as well the environment. The tubing itself runs from the gauntlet up the user's right arm and under a large pauldron before running underneath the user's backplate where the small gas canister is located.
- EMP\Ion: Electro-magnetic pulses and Ionic damage can easily disable the electronic properties of the Vambraces and Grav-gaunt, Resulting in short-circuiting of the internal systems or even the locking of the Grav-gaunt itself.
- Fingerless: The Grav-gaunt has been left "fingerless" at the tips to accommodate the intended user's cuticle implants, meaning that there is no tangible armor value to the fingertips. Whereas a traditional Mandalorian Crushgaunt could easily grab a lighsaber blade in battle, This could easily result in the loss of the wearer's fingertips while using this particular model. Furthermore, It is much easier for the wearer to damage their own fingers with the force of their own Grav-gaunt in the heat of battle. This is why users of the Netra-gaan pattern are advised to close their fist before activating the gauntlet itself, and maintain even pressure using the gauntlet's locking capabilities.
- Structural Integrity: While the "Kud'ukikan" pattern wrist blades are remarkably resistant to energy damage, extended exposure to sufficient kinetic damage to the mid-joint or particularly intense battle against the infamous lightsaber may result in more than warping. Once the blades begin to glow red hot or suffer from particularly brutish vibro or gravity weapons, The blades may break, possibly even returning to their liquid form. This makes them somewhat difficult to repair, and it is often better to simply replace a broken blade or melt it down rather than to mend it.
Ever seeking an edge in the technological field of warfare, Aloy Vizsla began a project with the intent of innovating the ancient Mandalorian Crushgaunt for use in unconventional endeavors. To this end, The V1 "Netra-gaan" pattern Grav-gaunt was created; A prototype crushgaunt that utilized gravity itself against it's foes. While shockwave-crushgaunts had been used in the past, The Netra-gaan was meant to bring the project up to speed with the current battlefield faced by both her family and Mandalorians; The shadows.
With Imperial Agents infiltrating Kestri and her family's own entanglements on level 1313, It became clear that the element of surprise was the modern Mandalorian's best bet at survival. While the traditional Crushgaunt of old was large and distinct, The Netra-gaan Grav-gaunt was designed to blend in with a warrior's everyday protective glove, only noticeable once the generators had been activated, causing grooves in the finger-plating to glow like the ancient Knuckle-plate vibroblades.
One basic safety tests had been run, The Grav-gaunt prototype was given to her daughter, Tayl Vizsla, for field testing. It was then augmented to interface with her neural-chip and armor systems, becoming one with her newly modified vambraces.
These new vambraces were further augmented another piece of experimental technology; The Kud'ukikan pattern wrist blades. These advanced wristblades were designed to mimic the jagged design of the ancient Mandalorian Crusader's Sigil, but otherwise stray far from traditional designs. They were made using an experimental chemistry technique whereby Monofillament was carefully bonded to Mandalorian Steel compounds in order to create a new material with study, but malleable properties. This mixture is kept in a large and air-tight reservoir on the gauntlet, attached to a flat-ended blade of standard Mandalorian Steel.
Using various electronics and repulsor technology, The first half of the blade forces the tip out of it's reservoir, hardening on contact with most atmospheres in a pre-molded shape nearly identical to the non-liquefiable counterpart. It quickly forms in a similarly bladed and pointed design that is indistinguishable from the original to the naked eye. It was designed as a parrying tool, however, it can still be utilized for any other purpose of a bladed weapon or spike. Including but not limited to; Climbing, stabbing, slashing, cutting down underbrush and intimidating gestures.
