So, with the influx of new members recently, and realizing one thing that might crimp consistent activity is lack of direction in some regards, I pinged Glorious Leader [member="Jorus Merrill"] and got the go-ahead to post this Teacher/StudentRequest thread. You know the drill!

Post here if you are looking for a Master or a Padawan.. Or even if you are an NFU with training to offer. You might just be one of the best pilots, mechanics, or slicers in the whole Faction, but not have a lick of Force Ability. And we can still use you.

Desired: OOC, my ideal student is more of a writing partner. I don't care for training threads and prefer to focus on story, letting the training occur naturally as part of the plot. In Character, Sor-Jan is very Jedi in terms of his identity and how he sees himself (and, thus, his students as well). Though Sor-Jan is a Jedi Consular, his master was a Jedi Sentinel and Sor-Jan's past padawans have gone on to become Guardians, Healers, and Sentinels. So anything goes there.

Info: BB is a young wild eyed, happy go luck SOB who is a untrained force user. He is looking for a hard ass trainer that will beat some sense into him while also enjoying long walks on the beach... Seriously his life has been hard but he can take it and still have a smile on his face.
Additional Notes: Really open to any time of training as long as it is not Sith or dark Jedi based. Willing to do group training with multiple users.

Desired: I'm looking for someone who's willing to be a long-time writing partner, probably over a decent amount of threads. Morality isn't of issue, as Salig is rather ambiguous himself.
Info: Salig is a unhinged, isolated vigilante who decided to take justice into his own hands, to wipe what he views as scum off the streets. Also, he has no ideas he force sensitive.. So, ICly, I'm able to work with pretty much anybody that's somewhat force-oriented.
Addionatial Notes: Willing to do group training.

Info: Cid has spent his entire life on Kilia IV within the Unknown Regions. He knows nothing of the Galaxies politics or power struggles. Someone who could teach him these things would be ideal.
Additional Notes: Looking for Lightside or even Neutral partner. Could train with an NFU if necessary as Cid doesnt use a lightsaber, instead he uses something similar to a Siang Lance, a Kilian Rangers weapon of choice..

Desired:

Someone that can put up with thisaging man... kinda. In short, im happy to train whoever wants to try but Solan is in no way a traditional Darkside user or teacher of it. Im sure as one can attest too, Solan is very odd so those that fit with him as students need to be patient and to have something worth their reason to learn. If your character has a reason to learn, and one that Solan can accept, happy to train annyone.. if not he probably will tell it to their face or even push with them to find what that something is before he actually attempts to train the character.

In otherwords, students that are patient and have a purpose behind simply wanting to increase their abilities. I train people out of Pure IC compatibility and will not waste your guys time if Solan cannot realistically stick to training them.

Name: Stella
Desired: A long term writing partner for a apprentice-master relationship. No real preferences when it comes to alignment only that it should be someone outside of the traditional jedi teachings like a witch or something else completely.
Info: Stella is a weird being based on the starweirds from legends canon. She has a pretty animalistic side, but most of the time she is a kind and even slightly naive person.
Additional Notes: would be up for group training or any other stuff a master could think of.

Desired: I'm up for anything to be honest. What I'm really looking for is something to keep me grounded and active. Story-telling and in depth RP would be most preferrable, the abilities and what not that come from it I'm more than happy to wing one thread at a time.
Info: A Darksider ! *Drops the mic*....-No really, I'm serious. Could be a nice twist for someone to try and sway him away from the teachings of his youth. He's not evil in any sense but he doesn't really have any integrity either, too much pride for an inevitable fall I'd say. He's a criminal, hands down. I'd be interested to see someone turn that around for him.
Additional Notes: Have ship, will travel. A free spirit and open to a mentor, s'long as they're not in it for the price on my head I haven't done a lot with his experience in the force in quite a long time, basically played him as an NFU though I suspect that's about to change shortly. There's not a wide variety of skills that he knows and he's mostly self taught so...-Still a lot to be learned, there.

Desired: Someone willing to learn, someone interested in history, adventures, fun times; OOC: I'm a bit of a slow writer, but with work slowing down I'm going to be much faster, becoming my student you essentially become a writing partner so you get to be a lot of places and meet a lot of people especially in public threads! OOC/IC: Spencer just loves to have fun and possibly get into trouble. Oh also, even though you become a Knight - I'm totally down to do the Mastership until masterhood
Skills/Specialties Offered: Nearly everything on Spencer's power list as long as the character has the affinity, ie: the weaknesses that would cause learning some powers to make sense etc. Also not everything is available at padawan/apprentice level - we will build up to the big stuff starting small which is why I'm always down for the relationship to continue beyond Knighthood etc etc.

Name: Aerin Kath
Desired: IC:A master of soresu, several technical skills, willing to deal with some episodes of depression and coughing fits. I'm fine with the long-haul of being someone's designated padawan, though some on-off training is cool too.
Info: Aerin is an avid fan of Droid's rights movements, he is anti-slavery. He has no formal training in anything other than Engineering (droids, repulsor vehicles and starting to dabble in ships) but reads up on whatever he can in holo-net libraries and other sources whenever he can. Loves to cook in his spare time (not too bad, not too good, but has quite a range)
Additional Notes: OOC: up to the master for a few posts here or there or being a writing partner, I'm in my senior year in HS so I may be away for a bit during the day (American central time) but I'm a rather flexible guy when it comes to posting times. also warning: I've depression IRL too, so I can be a bit moody if off forum stuff gets me down (or if I forget to take my pill). Desired: I need someone to teach me the arts of the lightside of the Force, especially telekinetic abilities.
Info: Kytra has a serious case of PTSD induced by a Dark Jedi taking her captive and mentally torturing her. It resulted in her committing mass murder against him and others with the use of her telekinetic abilities. She's on the run from this, and wants to learn to control herself so she can help people, not harm them.
Additional Notes: I'm up for just about anyone, or even a group of people, to train me. She's what I'm referring to as a Jedi Ranger, a front line soldier that sneaks into places, hiding what she is so she can get around regulations and controls, and helps people in serious need. She can often become entrenched on a world to help people, going so far as to help them wage war against their oppressors. If that sounds like a fun sort of person to train, then awesome!
