Technical Bugs with Quote Signs

Hey all, I'm getting a weird symbol when I copy my posts from Word for the quote signs and I've seen this in some other posts, too. Any suggestions for how to fix this?

The issue was brought to me this morning and we're investigating.

it does it with a -- symbol from word as well, I believe it has something to do with the symbol code in word being different than html.

This is an issue with which characters ASCII supports. Retyping your quotation marks with the on-site text editor is a work around for this. Staff will resolve this as soon as we can, though.

It seems to only happen when one copy and pastes a word document created post. At least for me.

Yup. The problem stems from imported posts. But we're still unsure as to how to fix it, so please remain patient until we come up with a viable solution or a better explanation.
