Hello, I'm Werah Unon, the new Faction Owner.
I am starting a technology based drive for the TU - see below.

War is currently everywhere. It is a constant of life, throughout the Galaxy. And we can profit from it. We are the Techno Union, we shall create the best technology, the strongest droids, the fastest star fighters. We shall create new, exciting weaponry, that could turn the tide of a battle. And we shall sell it, bidders across the Galaxy will pay for our gear. And the credits will roll in, and with the money, we shall research even better weapons. And they shall sell for even more. And we will improve. The TU will become the trademark of progress, the place where the gears of war are forged.

So, basically, we are going to start building, and researching(and stealing, trading, ect.) new technology. Think of an idea for the TU, submit to the pre-factory, then submit to factory. We'll keep a track of all our new technology, and start selling when we have a ton of stuff. Nearly all submissions will need major production, so we should all try and participate in some of the dev threads.

Cool! But it sounds like TU's mission is to become a neutral arms dealer. Not everyone in TU is a scientist type. What about the others? What will they do assist? [member="Werah Unon"]

Well, for the nobility and such, you can try and negotiate contracts, or try and get funds for some of the projects, ect.

For the more military types, you can try and steal resources/parts from other factions, or spynet could try and find out info about new tech.
OR
You could test out the new gear. (If you want to fly the Death Star, do this.)

Hope that gives you some ideas.
