Strengths:
  • Heavy Resistance to lightsabers and melee combat.
  • Heavy Resistance to non-energy based projectiles (Arrows, Spears).
  • Internal Faraday Cage - Used to counteract the offense of EMP's, Ion Charges and Force Lightening etc (Energy Displacement).

Weaknesses:
  • Heavy Armor demanding greater strength of mobility due to the increased weight of the Attire.
  • Melee Combat Armor - Designed for high impact confrontations, due to the weight and materials used, consistent long range weapons fire can result in extensive damage with prolonged exposure to ranged attacks.
  • Points of Weakness - Protection of the neck, behind the knees and elbows is significantly weaker than the rest of the build for the sake of maneuverability.

Midvinter is a harsh world, her winters are merciless and her people have been bred to withstand such hardships. Against such a climate, a treacherous world with many challenges to be faced in their rather isolated and nomadic style of livelihood, the Valkyri have been no strangers to battle in the rising tides of personal pursuits and claims laid to bare across their lands. For such a bold and proud people, they deserve only the best of arms to bare and thus Teign Hœgr has sought to bestow upon them, one of many creations from the fires of Beornskald.

The combatant piece has been fashioned to offer protection against blunt force weapons and those of the make of metal and miscellaneous alloys; yet in the Valkyri's history and their affiliation with notable force users and wielders of the swords of light, Teign has introduced a rather common metal known as Turadium for which proves a strong hand against even the raw energy blade of a lightsaber.

Metals shaped into breast and armor plating, mounted atop leather undergarments and armor-weave coveralls and finally accompanied by the foreign technologies of wayfarers referred to as the Faraday Cage, this battle attire has been modified and enhanced to offer protection against immobilizing weapons fire such as Ion and energy/electrical currents.

For all the defense that this attire provides however, there are natural limitations that keeps the wearer grounded and reminded of their mortality. Heavy impact and kinetic damages will break bones, the armor cannot defend against the limitations of the sentient body nor mind and ranged weapons fire can be effective given the weight and mass of the overall attire and it's immobility when compared to lighter armors.

  • Lume Rock - A rock that gives off heat and light in the right circumstances, this heat is not enough to cause harm but the material itself has been used to inspire those around Teign to remember the light and to fight with all ones fire of life for the right reasons.

Strengths:
  • Man make rock, Man hit man with rock. Rock hard, Man head smash: This is a brutal blunt force weapon that is made to use it's momentum and weight to crush or cave in the body of the enemy that it strikes.
Weaknesses:
  • Heavy & Slow: Due to the nature and build of the weapon, the Fell Hammer is sluggish in it's use and requires a great deal of strength and momentum to utilize. Such a weapon can be dangerous to use when facing off against opponents more agile in their approach to combat.
  • Standard Kinetic Weapon: Damages from this Weapon do not cut or penetrate upon impact, there is no alternative use for the Fell Hammer other than to break ones foe unlike such weapons as lightsabers for example.
