Telekinesis

Draconis Caesar

Guest
Draconis had just finished checking out another holocron and decided to put it to good use. He wandered around the Silver Order temple then exited the court yard. He felt the pull from a place with a strong connection to the force and let the light side lead him. He found himself in a large outcropping of stones and felt a terrible presence. This place had been seeped in the darkside. Draconis was unsure why the force had led him here, but he was determined to find out. Draconis placed the holocron on the ground and turned it on.

"Greetings padawan, what can I do for you?"

"Hello master," Draconis bowed low "I wish to strengthen myself in the art of Telekinesis,"

"Telekinesis is an advanced technique padawan. One that requires a clear mind and steady head,"

"I am ready master,"

"Very well we will begin. To use Telekinesis it is best for one to have a steady mind, otherwise the results could be disastrous. The force is like a muscle the more strain you put on it the stronger it becomes, but its energies are not limitless. Clear your mind padawan and see yourself lifting one of these small rocks,"

Draconis threw every emotion he felt into the flame and became one with the void. He sat and pictured a small rock near by levitating in the air. He felt the strain on his mind, he felt the force in the rock, he connected with it and after an hour's practice had managed to lift it with the force.

"Good, now concentrate on a larger stone,"

Draconis had been practicing all day, lifting pebbles, rocks, and finally attempting to lift stones. While he did not feel tired physically, he was exhausted mentally. Draconis laid on his back and stared at the stars. The Holocron still whirred away in the background. He closed his eyes once, twice, and finally fell asleep.

As Draconis began to slip into his slumber he heard the voice of the ancient Holocron. You must learn. You will only face what you take with you.

Draconis stood amongst the pillars of stone, but something was not right. The world was a myriad of grey and black. There was a menacing air about it. He looked for the Holocron he had brought with him and could not find it.

"Master?"

No response came. As Draconis turned to leave he heard foot steps approach from behind. He ducked swiftly just as a blade passed right where his head had been. He somersaulted away and turned to face his unseen assailant. It was the Mandalorian from his past. Draconis withdrew his lightsaber and met the man head on. He led the attack with a slash at the neck. The Mandalorian deftly drew his sword upward and parried the blow. Then led with a riposte of his own. Draconis felt his arm sting where the blow had landed. Draconis leaped into a roll and the man atempted to bring his sword down atop the Padawan, but was not quick enough. Mid roll Draconis slashed at the mans ankles. He fell to his knees his Achilles severed. Draconis stood behind the man and raised his blade.
Death Begets Death. The Mandalorian whispered as the killing blow severed his head.

Draconis awoke with a fright covered in cold sweats. His shoulder stung. He saw the holocron sat right before him and the ancient master merely peered at him patiently.

"I.. I.."

"You have passed a great trial Padawan, but you still have much to learn,"

Draconis was unsure whether the ancient master spoke of his training with telekinesis or of his dream.
