Character
The deck was quiet and cold. The majority of the ship's crew was off on shore leave, courtesy of their lord. A skeleton crew had remained to keep the vessel from falling in on itself, but otherwise the Chimaera was utterly empty.
Mephirium stood upon the bridge of the vessel alone. He'd ordered the remnants of the crew to the aft ends of the ship for the time being. For the next hour or so, he would have the deck of the legendary Star Destroyer all to himself. Well, all to himself, save for one.
Oddly enough, the first to be conscripted had proven to be the most loyal. with time, [member="Darth Kentarch"] had been given some semblance of responsibility. When that had shown itself to be the correct move, the nascent Sith Lord had even been allowed a modicum of trust unseen in Mephirium's others servants and constituents. Perhaps it was because of their shared kinship when it came to caring for the world of Ession, or perhaps it was because Kentarch had been the sole man to know Mephirium yet lived after the coup.
Either way, when the time to move came, Mephirium had not hesitated to call upon Kentarch. The other man had proven himself time and time again to be as loyal as he was secretive. That was not to say that Mephirium trusted him with everything, but enough to at least turn his back to Darth Kentarch.
Enjoying the calm of solitude, Mephirium awaited Kentarch's arrival. It was here that they would plot the future of the stars, just as they had two years ago. Despite himself, Mephirium found that he was giddy at the prospects.
