Telltale: Game of Thrones {Spoilers!}

So I am new to GOT in general. People have been telling me for years I should watch it because of my love for history, betrayal, and violence. Three things prominent in the series. I began watching it a few weeks ago and am already knee deep into Season 3. So i decided to take the Telltale series for a spin. I really enjoy Telltale games and have placed a number of them. Walking Dead, Minecraft, and recently the new Batman game. So I thought i'd give the GOT Telltale a try. I bought it this past Monday and had finished it by Wed. I found it to be very fulfilling but having some dull turns. The overall story to me seemed very in-line with game of thrones, but poorly executed when it came to Character development. I saw little advancement capability in characters other than Ethan, who died very prematurely. (Also in line with GOT, RIP Ned Stark.)

Anyway i've heard MANY bad things about the game but Telltale is held in high regard to me. What is your opinion on the game? All in all i would give it a 6.5/10. Still a decent game and holding a bit of replay value but not necessarily breathtaking.

I absolutely agree. My kid had fun watching me play too, so in my book, not a waste at all.
