[SETTING INFORMATION]
- Structure Name: Tempest Mesa Power Plant
- Classification: A renewable source power plant
- Location: Southern Hemisphere, Eadu

- Accessibility: Tempest Mesa is not a military facility, it is a known location. It is mildly guarded. The cloud-thick and stormy nature of Eadu, though, make it harder to be visually seen from far off. Nonetheless, as lightning strikes are concentrated on that location it certainly can take someone's attention.

- Description:
Employees in the plant wear enhanced insulator suits, very similar to these, as preventative protection. Moreover, they also wear sound dampening earphones against the constant thunders that follow the lightning strikes along with helmets that have protective visors against the flashing light of the lightnings.
To expand onto that, the walls of the power plant are obviously built with powerful sound dampening layers making it safe for one's ears to wander inside without their earphones. Outdoor operations, as earlier stated, require earphones to protect hearing capabilities and integrated within sound dampening helmet comlink to be able to communicate without the intrusion of thunder noises.
Workers at the power plant often call it the 'Light & Sound Show' or just 'The Show' due to the power plant being struck by numerous lightning strikes every other second which if seen from afar does look as if some sort of insane entertainment show was being held.
[POINTS OF INTEREST]
- Tempest Mesa: The mesa on which the power plant is built is named Tempest Mesa due to the considerably extensive lightning strikes it receives upon its surface. It is rather unremarkable, other than its size, compared to nearby mesas while its ground is scarred and scorched from lightning.
- Paigu Lightning Towers: The core of the power plant are the numerous Lightning Towers that are erected on the mesa. They act as powered lightning rods which attract lightning like moths to a flame resulting in renewable energy source that produces an extreme load of electric energy. The technology itself was borrowed from the Paigun.
[HISTORICAL INFORMATION]
Upon the formation of the Sovereignty on Eadu, opportunists flocked the newly formed government looking for profits. One such opportunist was Kalo Draxler, owner and CEO of Draxler Group. A company specializing in infrastructure development. With a bold move of directly approaching the supreme authority of the Sovereignty, Draxler were given a chance to prove themselves.
Immediately, in contact with technical specialists from the Sovereignty, Draxler Group unfolded their plan. Not long after it, construction materials and personnel began working tirelessly in building the large power plant. Construction took around six months, considering Draxler's contact with a droid producing company which brought hundreds of droids working on the project.
After its creation, a ceremony was held as the generators were turned on successfully. Their first month of operation demonstrated the high capabilities of the power plant and its place in the future of Eadu in which population is to increase drastically over time as both people in the dangerous Wild Space flock to safety while those sick of war in the known galaxy seek refuge.
