Temporary LOA (Not sure exact dates)

Just a head's up, my grampa is being put into palliative care. I don't have a timeline for him yet, but when I do, I may disappear for a few days. It's half a day's travel to get to him. I saw him a few weeks ago and hope to see him again before he passes. We've already said our goodbyes, but I just want to be there and keep him company.

I'll let you know the dates as soon as I know.

Thank you. Chaos is my stress relief, so maybe it's good that Kay has gone dark. That and I'll be listening to a lot of heavy metal at work >.<

He has family there with him,so he's not alone. I just don't expect that he'll make it through the month. But...you never know. I just want him to go peacefully in his sleep.

My Grampa has been put in an oxygen chamber. My mom and dad are headed over there now so that my dad can be with his brother and they can decide things. I have to wait until I find out what's going on before I go there. So I could disappear later tonight or tomorrow...

It's a crappy month for me stress wise. I'm lucky to not have any bad vices...

We are on the ferry now. I got the call and I drove very fast to get here. Will keep you updated for when I return.

I'm back. My grampa passed away not long after we saw him. We spent a few hours with him. He was just sleeping there, basically, though he squeezed my hand and I got a few half smiles.

While we all went out to dinner, he passed away. We got the call after we placed our orders. So after we finished, we headed back to the hospital and said goodbye.

At least he was ready and saw everyone before he passed. Can't ask for more than that than to go peacefully.

You've been dealt some very hard cards this year.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Though it's not an easy thing to say, I am at-least glad for him that he was ready, it's of no consolation to the loss of a loved one I know but few ever come to that place in life so for that, yes, be happy for him.

Continue to take all the time you need.

Yes, it was just six months ago that my uncle passed. And there's other stresses as well.

I am happy for him. Both him and my Gramma lived incredible lives. I was glad to be a part of it.
