Strengths:

Good in a pinch
- Teq has been known to put himself into some sticky situations. Still, thankfully his ability to think quickly helps circumvent the worse outcomes. Quick thinking is something he was able to pick up from his time with Dam Huwes. Keeping a keen eye and understanding your surroundings was always the most important if you got in trouble.

Charming to a fault- Teq's quick with a witty remark or snarky quip, aside from his naturally magnetic personality. Even if his snide retorts got him into trouble, he normally could get his way with a smile or a joke.

Bruiser- Teq is always a good backup in a bar fight. Having grown up in a rough background, the Nautolan figured out that throwing the first punch quickly ends the conflict. And when the first punch wasn't enough, Teq knew his way around melee weapons. Whether it was to cut or to bludgeon, the man could figure out a way to bring someone to their knees with sticks or stones.

Weakness:

Sucker for a pretty face- For a relatively young man, Teq could never say no to a pretty face nor tell if a pretty face was lying to him. So in his free time, you'll typically find him chasing skirts until he meets a dead end or a fist to the face.

Pushing your luck- Teq doesn't back down quickly, obviously leading to unfavorable situations for the Nautolan. However, there was an adrenaline junky lurking just under the surface of the man.

Take your bets- Gambling is fun until it's not. Usually on the line of poverty. Any credits he does receive are usually gone within hours, either with cards, racing, or stupid bets he makes at local bars.

Appearance: A Nautolan in their late-twenties, with pale green skin which is accented by tattoos that cover his face, chest, arms, and tendrils. Those tattoos range from dark blue to light teal. The themes of the Tattoos lean towards aquatic, many resembling crashing waves or swirling whirlpools. The man has a sharp angular jawline that accentuates the Large black eyes that the Nautolans are known for. Tendrils fall from his head in the place of hair, which falls to the lower back. The man is normally found with an open-collared shirt, as if he wants to show off the tattoos on his chest.

Biography:
Teq wasn't born on Pagodon, but the man doesn't know where he actually came from. All he knew was the fact that his parents were traders, and they had died on Pagodon. Apparently, cold weather didn't suit his parents very well. Nobody likes frozen squid that much, anyway. So the Nautolan grew up on that ball of ice, barely surviving off the generosity of others and anything he could get his grubby hands on. Finally, at fifteen, Teq found his opportunity to rid himself of snowballs and find greener grasses. Unfortunately for some, those greener grasses came at the expense of a Besalisk named Dam Huwe. Little did the fifteen-year-old Teq know that he had boarded the Quad-Jumper of a man with a nasty reputation. Having stowed away in the cargo hold, Teq couldn't keep himself from falling asleep. The constant hum of the quad engines did nothing to help keep the boy awake. Finally, only several hours off of Pagodon, Teq was met with a blaster pointed at his face. Only the luck of the devil that the Besalisk was willing to quarter Teq and take him under his wing. It was like a new family had been born!

Years passed as Dam raised Teq along with the crew of the Quad-Jumper, The Backwoods Ravinak. Time flew by as they fell into misadventures of the smuggling trade, but for a while, life was good. That was until Sullust. The crew of the Backwoods Ravinak had found themselves in a very spicey situation, as they had been caught in a double-cross. Let me tell you, being caught in a lie in the smuggling business always led to poor results. It was like being caught with your pants down, but instead of people laughing at you, you're getting shot at instead. Teq had to be taught a lot by the Dam's crew, but he had to live by the code of 'Save your own skin.' Was he proud of the fact that the men he served by for years were being slaughtered, and he did nothing to stop it? Of course not, but Teq knew he had to survive, and apparently, he wasn't the only one who believed that. By no means were the people of Dam's Quad-Jumper good men, but it still hurt to see them cut down where they stood by a group of conniving, sniveling, little twerps for men. Dam had lost his leg on that day, attempting to save Teq from being surrounded by a group of those unforgiving hustlers. Unfortunately, he had slipped into one of the many veins of molten rock that coursed through the planet like veins in a successful attempt to save the young man.

After that point, there was no crew; there was only Dam and Teq. Just two brothers in arms who were surviving day to day. As more time passed, Teq grew into the face of the operation, while Dam was the brains. His natural charisma allowed him to woo the opposition along with the ability to lie through his teeth. But, even if Teq's lying and scheming led him down terrible paths with terrible people, Dam was always there to pull him up from the dirt.
