- Description: Assembled in response towards the growing hostilities displayed by Outer Rim Factions such as the Rimward Trade League and the Eriadu Authority, towards the Final Dawn's operations in the region, Tempest Squadron is an Elite Naval Task Force established by High Regent Marlon Sularen of the Final Dawn and under the formal command of Director-Admiral Dorian Sevenar, established with sole purpose of humbling those who have recently challenged the Final Dawn's authority in the area and enforcing the will of the High Regent. Comprised of three combat groups with a mixed assortment of warships with various roles, Tempest Squadron is a flexible Task Force capable of operating on more then a singular front capable of projecting the power of the Final Dawn, anywhere at anytime in order to complete it's mission of ensuring the continuation of Sularen's overall goals in the former territories of the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Outer Rim

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
When the Confederacy of Independent Systems first collapsed, the then-Grand Overseer of the Final Dawn, Marlon Sularen, saw an opportunity to expand the Final Dawn's influence in the area, slowly establishing a presence on numerous worlds such as Seswenna and Utapau and going as far as even absorbing an entire Outer Rim Imperial Remnant faction in Sularen's quest to establish a strong presence in the region. Upon his ascension to High Regent in the wake of the disasterous Battle of Tython, Sularen's priorities shifted from simply establishing a strong presence in the Outer Rim, to creating a strong support network comprised of both proxies comprised of Imperial factions, local governments, corporations and paramilitary groups to further support his war effort and provide the Final Dawn with a possible fallback area should the Maw ever lose at the hands of the Alliance.
However, after diplomatic talks with the Rimward Trade League went sour, and after a heated confrontation with self-proclaimed High Moff Vandar Tarkin of Eriadu during a major summit there, the position of the Final Dawn became compromise with the Rimward Trade League becoming an active threat to future Final Dawn operations and Tarkin's planned Confederation of Imperial Remnants posing a similar threat due to Tarkin's intense animosity towards the High Regent. Thus in response to these setbacks and seeking to double-down on his commitments in the Outer Rim, High Regent Marlon Sularen established Tempest Squadron, an Elite Naval Task Force under the command of his subordinate, Director-Admiral Dorian Sevenar established for the sole purpose of keeping these threats in check and protecting the already existing holdings of the Final Dawn while the Politorate, the Final Dawn's Intelligence Agency (also led by Sevenar) would slowly dismantle these organizations from the inside out to ensure that they would be properly humbled and that the interests of the Final Dawn would be protected.
