With deep red eyes and boney cheecks, Tessyn has a pale white skin. His chin is full of golden ornaments, as costumary of his culture. While a very typical Ayrou when his face is concerned, he regularly shaves his "hair" (which looks like evolved feathers). He covers his face with a hijab-like mantle, and his body is tremendously fit for his species,. Both his hands and his feet, very brute, worked and big, are full of calluses. Tessyn's body is full of blaster and contusion scars.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Apartheid, genocide and war has robbed Tessyn and all of his friends of the erroneous pacifism and passiveness the Ayrou cultivated for years. Peace, he came to fathom, was subjugation. Realizing so changed him, and made him a very disciplined, active man. He believes in the omnipotence of war, which is, for him, the way politics is made on a superior level. As so, he is very analytical, strategical and prone to initiative. Tessyn is full of resentment, and sometimes will get cynical and distant, not because he doesn't believe his ideology wholeheartedly, or because he doesn't love his men as much as he hates the enemy. He just lived through too much to be completely optimistic.
STRENGTHS
Guerrilla Fighter - Tessyn fought in a very bloody war since he was a child, and during that the universal law of war was revealed to him: Weapons, infrastructure and positions are expendable, but men aren't. He dominates every move on guerrilla warfare, and pushes them to the very limit to win. As so, he is in advantage when the enemy is numerically superior, or using the principles of regular war.
Passive use of the force - While Tessyn doesn't know why, but when he focuses on a specific task, he suddenly grows stronger, more resistant and agile, and has greater reflexes and aim than normal. While a very common trick, it ensures his superiority on individual combat against the ones around him.
Weapons expert - During the war effort against his species' genocide, Tessyn and his group never quite got the best weapons and equipment. The difference between an army and the other was made not by the weapons they both have, but by the men using them. Tessyn knows his way with weapons, specially knives and rifles. He knows how to assemble, disassemble and modify guns, and knows how to make basic rifles, pistols and hand-to-hand weapons from trash.
Indestructable Will - Tessyn is very much determined to serve the Eternal Empire the best he possibly can. His truth is the unrevocable truth, and it will take a lot to convince him otherwise. Mind tricks, torture and other ways one can try to change his view will most likely end in failure.
WEAKNESSES
Initiative Freak - Voice of command is a very precious thing in war. While Tessyn respects good and clear commands, he will overrule orders he deems unnecessary, simply badly made ones, and will act in whatever way he sees fit if no command is given. Very passionate about the laws of war, he will bicker with whoever is necessary to do what he deems is needed, even if it costs his reputation and position within the Ranks of the Eternal Empire.
Attached Leader - Tessyn is a people's man, specially when they're under his command. To know every men you work with is a blessing, but also a very big burden to bear: his attachment to the soldiers he leads makes him value their life much more than what the Eternal Empire expects.
Antiquated - Tessyn isn't dumb. He just doesn't see the necessity to use top-notch technology, and never quite got any interest in it. He doesn't know how to use more complex weapons, including lightsabers, and will refuse to use or wear anything that fancy.
Prejucide agaisnt wizards - Anyone that actively uses the force is a coward that can't rely on their own potential, being forced to use wizardry to cover their own incompetence. Tessyn will treat any jedi, sith or similar with the upmost gelid way, and simply can't trust them. Anyone speaking well of them, and of the force itself, will have to face a very energetic and agitated Tessyn.
HISTORY
The Ayrou were a species of peace, prudence and careful consideration once. They were even repulsed by violence, prone to negotiating and politicking. Oh, but that was hundreds of years ago, the result of a culture that was mercilesly beaten into submission by more powerful, more aggressive societies. History is only made by the point of a rifle, and the Ayrou learned this harsh truth oh so very late. Oral Ayrou history tells us that, hundreds of years ago, after much dispute within their old religious cadres, the Vashans, who previously lived in peace with the Ayrou in Maya Kovel, adopted a more harsher position of expansionism and a full-blown religious war against all non-Vashans in the planet. Very peaceful and very patient, the Ayrou government held peace talks that, we all know now, were doomed to failure. Soon, the planet of Maya Kovel was controlled by the Vashan Theocracy, that maintained a harsh system of apartheid between them and other species. That was centuries ago.
No single galactic faction seemed to care about it, and soon the efforts to revert the Vashan expantionism by means of diplomacy died in vain. The number of Ayrou born in the planet was artificially controlled by the Vashans. Ayrou were banished from politics, from the capital, and poorly-made cities were constructed to concentrate their kind. Tessyn was born on one of those, and knew not much but war. His family was involved with the Ayrou National Liberation Movement, a organization that abandoned the ways of the past and called for armed struggle against the Vashan opression. Hell, his father was one of its leaders, after all. At eleven years old, Tessyn was taught how to shoot a proper blaster, assemble and disassemble weapons, and to survive in the brute reality he was in. By twelve, he killed the first Vashan officer. The barrel of a blaster educated him in a world where nothing else could. He learned discipline, to give his blood and soul to the liberation of his people.
By fourteen, war was still victimising his people. The city he lived in was bombed by the Vashan Regime and used as an example to the other Ayrou. While he was on a mission of assaulting Vashan bases for weaponry with his father and other resistance fighter, his mother wasn't as lucky. The destruction could be heard from miles. By sixteen, Tessyn was leading his first batallion, consisting of newer Ayrou. The young combatant was an example of a soldier, some even said he was gifted. The young combatants were all very determined to free his people, some of those even survived to see the end of the conflict.
At seventeen, his father was imprisoned. Tessyn knows that for certain, because it was the year the National Liberation Movement first made contact with the Eternal Empire, representing all the Ayrou people when it subjected all the planet to the Empress if the war was victorious. Tessyn's father would be killed in a political prison months later, at the time the first EE soldier visited the Ayrou to teach them the art of war.
When he was eighteen, by using the gifts given to him, Tyssen fought alongside his brothers, sisters and EE colleagues on the last push against the Vashan Theocracy. Their leader was the first one to be executed under Imperial rule.
With a life full of war, destruction and chaos, Tessyn promised himself to serve the Eternal Empire and the Empress with all his heart, to bring salvation and glory to other people, to other planets, to finally destroy the shackles holding the opressed of all galaxy. He is a soldier ever since, and even when the Eternal Empire was pushed out of Maya Kovel, he and other of his people were, ironically, much more Imperial than Ayrou to not passionately follow the Empress on her duty to purge the galaxy. Tessyn has been a soldier ever since.
Being a soldier for two decades, some of Tessyn's feats are talked about by little, but persistent people. All of those talk about a performance that goes beyond what a simple Ayrou can do, both physically and strategically, as if there's a supernatural force moving him. This talk, even if not so recurrent as to gather attention of higher authorities, has made one secret organisation very interested.
A month from now, returning from his duties as a Blackwatch, Tessyn was visited on his little cabin by a mysterious figure, wearing white cloaks and robes, and a strange mask. It revealed the truth to the Ayrou. Ir revealed to him what The Force means. Another shackle, another barrier to be destroyed. A grandmaster that slaves all the living being. While Tessyn is slowly and forcefully considering the reality he was presented with, he feels something deep within. The desire to change it.
