Description: [SIZE=9pt]The Teuthida-Class Cruiser is one of the first products released by the new Mon Calamari Hypernautics from their facility at the Mon Eron Shipyards. With members of the Tion Hegemony taking control of the famous shipyards, and with the Cluster under protection of the Silver Jedi, the Teuthida is built exclusively to provide the Silver Jedi with an assault cruiser for the defense and protection of the worlds under their protection. The minds behind the construction of this vessel had taken what works best for former Mon Calamari cruisers and placed them in a new and updated space frame.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Creating a ship that is built for war, the Mon Cal engineers placed a varied load out of defensive guns and warhead launchers on their new vessel. Heavy turbolasers give the vessel the punch it needs to keep most vessels at bay and ion cannons are used to scramble enemy ships systems. Like each Mon Calamari vessel, the Teuthida comes standard with redundant shield generators as well as a water proof and resistant frame for use in and around aquatic worlds. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]In the way of the hangar, the vessel carries five support craft, ranging from shuttles to vessels designed to help retrieve EV pilots. As for fighter support, the vessel can hold three squadrons of starfigthers and this does cause it to lack in fighters in comparison to other vessels of its size.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Each vessel is crafted by hand and will have unique cues for each vessel that may make them easier to identify but will give each vessel its unique characteristics.[/SIZE]
