DESCRIPTION
Developed by the various minds within the Trade Federation, the TF01 Droid Shuttle; Avarum Pattern was designed to act as an effective transport that could operate as both a long-range military starship or an advanced executive shuttle. Built in the ancient and stylized fashion of the Separatist shuttles, the Avarum offered a visually sleek spaceframe, coupled with a sound fully-sealed exterior hull. As there were no viewports, those shrouded within the automated shuttle would be safeguarded from the horrors of the void. Instead of the more traditional glasteel panes that separated organics from the dangers of space, they would be given a holographic representation of the shuttlecraft’s exterior. This allowed those stationed aboard the Avarum to revel in the comforts that the shuttle could provide while revelling in the deadly majesty of the solar tides.

With the variable interior layout of the shuttle, capable of hosting a small squadron of battle droids or two organic executives, the Avarum was outfitted with a comprehensive countermeasure suite. These methods of protection ranged from reactive to active measures, which all played their respective parts in safeguarding the shuttle from various dangers. The most notable of these defences was the point defence cannons that were spread out across the entirety of the vessel. As they were automated and remotely controlled by the on-board A.I. administrator, these active measures would seek to gun down any threats that fell within their interception sphere. Naturally, their measures of success depended upon what they engaged, as it was unlikely that a shuttle out defend the protective measures of a much larger Gunboat or an advanced starfighter.

From there, the automated shuttle was wholly adaptive - as it was granted a small measure of autonomy through its heuristic processes. The older the Avarum was, the more experienced the artificial intelligence would be - likely making them some of the best pilots in the galaxy. Such a statement could only be proven true if an automated shuttle lived long enough to tell the tale. Nevertheless, the droid brain came pre-loaded with what was considered standard knowledge that was programmed into almost every Pilot droid this side of the Sith-controlled Corporate Sector. This meant that the Avarum was more than capable of getting a pair of organic executives or a squad of soldiers to their intended destination(s) in relative safety. Which, in this chaotic day and age, was more than could be said of the Trade Federation’s competitors.
