STRENGTHS
- Energy Displacement: With the various adaptations on the droids, from the armor to the shields, gives the droids an excellent defense against energy blaster weapons.
- Lightsaber...pfft: The songsteel, placed on the limbs and chassis, allows the droids to repel lightsaber strikes efficiently.
- EMP/ Ion: Like most droids that are heavily reliant on technology to function, they are very susceptible to such attacks; effectively shutting them down.
To further strengthen their military might, without the cost of training soldiers and replacement costs, the EOTL elected to put those calculated costs after many hours of research into these droids. Originally, they hoped for a mass-produced droid, but once the engineers presented the schematics for "Trident" droid, the costs offset the production timeframes.
The droid's brain system, the B-10 "Tensai", allows the droid to be programmed to serve many different services through the five degrees of the droid classification system. More based for combat, they can be programmed to perform other functions like worker droids, translator droids, etc. The pre-programing can be changed, but it takes a reboot and several minutes for the programming to change.
Also, the droid series has an Anti-Mechu-deru Implant which protects the droid from the Force directed ability, giving them a stronger resistance to it. Though it does have its own personal drawbacks. The droid has a jetpack attached to the back of the droid, that can be removed easily if needed. The jetpack allows the droid to travel across great lengths, and soaring high enough to reach a planet's thermosphere, with the addition of the dallorian alloy, the droid can resist the high heated temperatures.
