Strengths:
- High Caliber: The use of large caliber slugs in the THAC makes it very useful against infantry able to tear through most if not all body armor.
- Long Range: The weapon is capable of shooting over very long distances making it excellent for defensive and offensive operations.
- Armored Target Though having decent fire power the slugs used are not on par with any anti-armor rounds and is not able to perpetrate tanks and similar vehicles unless there is a defined weak point.
- I need Ammo: Due to is being a slug based weapon the THAC is always in need of extra ammo least the crew using it run out of ordinance to shoot.
With most infantry regiments supplied with adequate equipment focus was shifted to further production of vehicle weapons. The first weapon on the design table was a self loading slug thrower based armament for long range combat but still firing fast enough for mid range engagements. The design team put forwards a modified version of an Auto-cannon that fired larger then usual rounds, it's main task to be an anti infantry/air defense mechanism for lighter military vehicles. Initial testing prove to work well in mounted static positions or on craft of some sort, quickly being designated as the standard anti-infantry, similar to the HBMG series of weapons.
