Thane's Thoughts

1) Contrary to popular belief among our younger generation, the song lyric "at the twilight's last gleaming" from The Star Spangled Banner does not refer to the last scene where Edward opens his shirt in direct sunlight.
Thank you.
More to come, stay tuned.
And feel free to discuss amongst yourselves quietly.

Thane will now being giving all of our graduation speeches at Coruscant University. Thank you. :D

In response to the OP, on a similar and sadly more realistic note:

I'm a public school teacher. Every morning we have the Pledge of Allegiance. About 60% of the time, students will incorrectly say the first line by haphazardly including the unnecessary preposition 'of': "I pledge of allegiance, to the flag..."

A little tick goes off in my brain every time it happens.

What he's failing to mention here is that these are high school students. :p
Ah, yes, the youth of tomorrow......

Fortunately they're not high school students, it's 5th and 6th Grade. So I guess there is some hope for humanity yet.
We just haven't gotten around to teaching prepositions yet, apparently...
