Azel sat in the food court of a large starship headed for Nar Shadaa. The ship, a passenger transport, had close to five hundred people on board. A bit over whelming as he looked around, people sitting, eating, talking, drinking. There were so many, and so many variations of species. Azel was certainly having a hard time adapting to the new life he led. So, he sat in his little booth, sipping on his water and taking occasional bites of his cheap meal. He watched as a group of crew members rushed towards a staff elevator, a worried look on their faces. Azel shrugged it off, and kept on observing the room.

On board was a young man, casually hiding any traces of a Force Presence that anyone might be able to try and sense. He wore a black leather jacket, a blue t-shirt, black pants and armored boots, with his lightsaber hanging from his belt, not really all that visible considering his jacket and shirt covered it. He sat in a chair, going undercover for the time being on his way to a planet in order to deal with liberating slaves once again... And destroying the camps taking them.

He relaxed, his arms folded, his mind simply focused on what was around him... Feeling, sensing... Seeing even without his eyes open. He could sense tension in some staff members... What was going on?

As the elevator doors were closing, that's when it happened. Simultaneously, alarms started blaring, a massive force rocked the ship, and the crew toppled over each other inside the elevator. But perhaps the scariest to Azel, was the sheer amount of fear he felt. While not being highly attuned to the Force, he certainly felt the mass hysteria inside the mess hall. Some jumped up, running to designated safe rooms. Some sat in their chairs, paralyzed, but all of them had one look on their face. We're going to die.

Azel jumped out of his booth, fighting the wave of people running. Off in the distance, he saw a small family, their patriarch had fallen and hit his head. He was unconscious, and people we're just running past them. Some where in the corner of his mind, Azel saw another group of crew members heading towards the ship's main airlock, but he kept moving towards the family.

Well, that escalated quickly.

The alarms started blaring as a tremendous force would rock the ship. The Jedi would quickly hold onto something in order to keep himself stable. The room, it's patrons... Were in absolute panic. Something was going on and people were panicking. Some rationally ran to safety. Others? They just stayed put. One thing that caught Josh's attention though, was the family, with what he assumed to be the father having been knocked unconscious. Nobody was helping.

His eyebrows furrowed. Ugh. Always with the "Every man for himself" routine with these people. The Jedi would vault over the chairs and try to get through the crowd, breaking off at a sprint toward the family, hoping he would be able to successfully escort them to safety... He thought he saw someone running in the same direction...

Azel reached the family, and crouched down next to the father. "What's wrong with him?" The man's wife said something frantically. Either Azel couldn't understand her fast speaking, or she was speaking an entirely different language. Either way, Azel decided to skip the talking, and sprang into action. He moved the man, picking him up and throwing him over his shoulder. As he stood, he saw another man approaching. "Help me out here, eh?" Azel grunted out. Another force rocked the ship, sending with it a new wave of panic. He tried to steady himself on the nearest table, nearly falling over.

"It's pretty obvious what's wrong with him. He's out cold" Joshua would remark jokingly toward the wife of the unconscious man. "Just relax, and let's get you guys to safety so we can figure out what the hell is going on with this mess" He would add as he nodded toward Azel's request for help. Simple enough, he was here already, might as well help out.

"You wanna carry old man jenkins while I herd the family into their safe room?" The Jedi would inquire. "Since you've already got him on your shoulders anyway, and you probably don't need my help for that"

[member="Azel Elerel"]

"Aye." Azel readjusted the man on his shoulder, and got moving. He moved fast through the crowd, but tried to not hurt or push anyone out of the way. When they finally got to the safe room, essentially just the deck where all the escape pods were kept, Azel would turn to Joshua. "What's going on?" Azel set the man down, leaning him up against the wall. He looked over the man, making sure his head was okay. No bumps, no blood, the guy just seemed to be out cold. Maybe he had passed out from shock.

The duo would move quickly through the crowd. And while Azel would carry the father through the halls, likely hoping that no one randomly showed up and decked them while in the halls, Joshua would motion for the wife and children to follow along with him, escorting him along with the other man, while he made sure he got directions from them in order to figure out where their safe room was. Once they were able to get to the safe room, he would stop and watched as Azel set the man down.

He let the family tend to their patriarch as he would turn to Azel. "Not sure" He spoke firmly. "But whatever it is, it sounds like they could use our help" He would add.

"Joshua" He introduced, extending his hand. "Yourself?"

Azel checked on the man one last time before turning to Joshua, as the man had introduced himself.

"Azel." He responded, shaking Joshua's fist. Another force rocked the ship, but this time Azel barely fell, adjusting his center of balance with it. Incredible how quickly one could adjust to something. The young Jedi nodded, "Aye, sounds like they do. Shall we get goin'? Let's check out that crew elevator in the mess." Azel started moving, pushing past a couple people.

Once they got to the elevator, Azel would open it. A horrid grinding noise came from somewhere, and the doors opened a couple inches. Azel moved to pull them apart, motioning for Joshua to help.

"Good to meet you, Azel" He said, but before anymore introductions could be made, another force would rock the ship. Joshua would quickly grab hold of a wall to steady himself, and centered his balance quickly. "We might as well check out the elevator then" He would agree. "Lead the way. I haven't done much on this flight besides sit on my ass and nap" He joked, chuckling just a tad as he would follow the Apprentice.

When they got to the elevator, Azel had attempted to do it by force. While Joshua was physically strong enough to open one side of the door on his own easily, they didn't have time. And the bigger problem was no matter what they did, the other side of the door would likely just keep closing and couldn't keep up with the other. They'd then waste more time trying to squeeze through the gap. They needed to find a way to open them both the same time, and open them long enough for them to get through... "We don't have time to do this by hand, Azel. If someone's wounded on one of the other floors, or trouble is afoot, we don't have any time to waste" He said as he would finally stop hiding his Force presence. If Azel cared to try, he'd be able to sense it immediately. It didn't matter anymore, he'd do what he needed to do. He would step back, before holding out his hands. This was going to take quite a bit of energy... But if anyone could do it, it was the Jedi Master.

He took a deep breath, before he began to focus his energy, trying to use the telekinetic powers of the Force to swing the elevator doors open at the same time. He started to move his hands further and further apart, the doors slowly starting to open. Unfortunately, that was when Josh would realized they were jammed against something heavy... This was going to take a lot more effort then he thought. He put more into it, his teeth gritting, as the doors would slowly open bit by tiny bit. Beads of sweat began to trail down Joshua's forehead from the effort he was exerting. If Azel wished, he could attempt to help using the same technique to speed up the process.

Whether Azel helped or not, the Jedi continued trying to open the doors using telekinesis. But they just weren't moving fast enough... And they were trying to close as well, instead of staying in the same spot. The Jedi Master let out a scream, mustering up all the effort he could until finally he was able to get the doors open, with or without Azel help, and hold them for a moment before letting go.

"We have to go through, now! We only have a few seconds, they close way too fast and then they'll get jammed again!" Josh would call toward Azel as he would dash through the doors, narrowly getting past them and into the elevator before the doors would close again. Before they could, he would hold out his hands, trying to hold them open at least a little bit so they could get through at least a bit without having to go through all of that again. It was up to Azel to get them up to the floor they needed to be at.

A Jedi? A powerful one at that. Azel shrugged, as now was not the time to think about who this man helping him was. Azel decided not to help Joshua, figuring he had the door. Once open, Azel slid through, the doors trying to close on him. He squeezed through, barely getting his right leg out in time as the doors closed. It was clear what had happened in the elevator. Something had hit it hard, and knocked almost all of the crew inside, out. A few of them lay awake, staring up at the two men who had entered.

"W...who are you...?" One of them mumbled. Azel ignored him, pulling out his lightsaber. He lit the green blade, and grimaced at the usually snap-hiss. He was still on the fence about these weapons. Azel brought the saber over his head, cutting a hole in the top of the elevator. Making sure to give the piece of metal he cut a nice push with the Force, to keep it from falling on him, Azel turned off his saber, and jumped up.

Ah, there it is. A massive piece of metal had broken off in the elevator shaft, and crashed into the side of the elevator. Azel looked around, trying to find a way to get them up to the bridge. There, a maintenance "Joshua, see if there's an emergency panel in there!" Azel shouted down to him. Moving to his own panel, Azel ripped it open, and looked at all the buttons switches and cords.

"Kark."

Talking about identities could wait, they had people to save for the moment. It seemed Azel had decided to go and cut the roof of the elevator, which meant that Josh no longer had to hold the doors open. He relaxed as he finally released his hold on the doors, taking a moment to regain his bearings after using so much energy in order to not only open the doors to begin with, but keep them open as long as he had. He noted the crew members in the elevator, and wanted to help them, but knew that they had more pressing issues to handle right now. Do the right thing, and they'd save all of them. Fail, and they'd all just die anyway.

Josh looked up as Azel would leap up through the hole. By the lightsaber, it seemed that Azel was a Jedi himself. Looks like the both of them had their secrets. He heard Azel calling to him, and with a push of the Force he would leap to the top of the elevator. It seemed Azel had found a maintenance area, and he nodded as he headed over.

"Emergency panel, emergency panel... Ah hah!" He let out as he would find one quickly, opening the panel and getting to work on it.... Or he would like to have said that. Sadly, he knew little about what he was doing.

"Is there a big red button we're supposed to press or something?" He called back to Azel. Tech stuff wasn't his forte.
