Return to your topic, press edit, then use full editor.

At the bottom of the edit box, there should be a "Load Last Save" option, or something of a similar name. It will bring back the content you had written (sometimes it doesn't return *all* of it, as it depends on when the server was backed up, but it's usually good at aiding with those longer misplaced posts!)

Thankfully I hadn't done too much, just some general appearance stuff and equipment updates. If I had gotten through the whole biography portion... well, let's just say I'd wish I'd have the ability to Force Choke someone... most likely myself. DX

Prior to my learning of the auto-save function, I wrote out an entire biography and then lost it all. Safe to say what I wrote to replace it was nothing in comparison to the original xD So I feel you!

And certainly, I already glanced over it - I was waiting on the biography ^^ I'd definitely appreciate a thread, however, if you're not busy at any point

Haha! Well, I'm glad I stimulated your curiosity! I'm more than open for any thread ideas you have; I'm pretty sure I have to finish the profile before I start writing with people, though! I look forward to it! If anything is motivation to finish a character, threads are.

So long as you have the basic idea of your character, it's fine. We don't moderate biographies, and all the important parts of yours are already filled out I'll PM you with some ideas and see what you think ^~^

I like to build bios up as I go, they end up being a little rough around the edges at first, but over time they become something I'm proud of. The real issue is that I begin 90% of my characters as children, so their pre-RP history is always the lacking portion of the biographies, D: If I was like [member='Darth Vornskr'] and had the patience, I'd write their RP history in too but... I'd much rather devote my time to actually roleplaying than rewriting everything

Yeah they both do, it takes a certain patience xD I can only do it if I make sure to do it from the moment I start using a character. The compromise I made with Jyn is good enough for me xD

I'm actually a bit thankful that there isn't an approval system in place; in the last forum I roleplayed on you had to have multiple people approve your character if they were at a certain, randomly generated level of strength.. and having one of them be a person who nit-picks through everything. There's nothing quite like it to make you feel like a crud writer. DX

Oh and I agree. It ends up where someone doesn't agree with your vision for a character and tries to stomp all over it (I've had that happen a few times at other sites!) by the end of it you're left with a shell of a character, and little muse to write it!
